This is fake since Bioware said we won't find out reason why is Cerberus hunting Shepard in ME3 in IG.
Lol, you believe everything Bioware says.
How cute.

Why do I suddenly regret sparing her 6/8 times? Imagine all the ME1 choices end up being the poor ones. Spare the Rachni? Reaper servants. Shiala? Turns into a thorian beast and attempts to kill you.bobobo878 wrote...

The fact that you made another thread about this calling BioWare liars and getting all melodramatic is cute. When your the one who came in here when there was an obvious spoiler warning and now you complain that there are spoilers.
Reminds me of my baby cousin.

1) Cerberus: I guess I should have seen this coming a mile away. So I guess we're back to square one, with Cerberus being a bunch of inhuman, amoral Chaotic Stupid bad guys complete with top hats and twirling mustaches, going around stomping kittens just because. Whatever. Lame. What happened to TIM supposedly representing the best and worst of humanity? Is moral ambiguity too complex for the CoD button-mash-through-the-talky-parts crowd?
2) Somewhat related to the above, I am concerned about this "war effort" business. It's sounding like Bioware has decided the Paragon path is the correct way to play the series. I couldn't help but notice the author of the article in question predicated his musing regarding consequences on two Paragon actions: sparing the rachni queen, and not killing Wrex. Now I am not arguing for or against either of these decisions, but it seems to me like Paragon and Renegad paths should provide equally viable resolutions to the story--and not where the Paragons have attained a flawless victory, every possibly conflict resolved in the most beneficial way possible for all involved, and then Renegades left with total disaster, a galaxy completely falling apart.
3) Is that armored female holding a sword? For ****'s sake Bioware...

Don't worry, renegades won't get off that easy. If they make her a boss in ME3, than she will have somehow miraculously recovered from getting shot in ME1 and come back for revenge. After all, it usually takes more than one shot to kill thorian creepers, right?MACharlie1 wrote...

Ladies and gentlemen of the supposed jury, that does NOT. MAKE. SENSE.
I can't even fathom in my wildest imaginations a reason for this. For the love all that is good, I can't wrap my head around such an amazingly BAD decision.
Obviously I haven't played the game, I have no idea whats really up with it. The article could be wrong, there could be other factors not yet revealed. I don't know. But as the information we have now stands, I'm thoroughly upset.

It makes perfect sense if you gave them the collector base. Every time an organic tries to utilize Reaper tech, it ends badly. Every time. As you can read in the novels, Cerberus thinks they are different, but they are wrong.

It's a well-written piece, but after that kind of blunder I'd take most of it with a grain of salt (as Priestly recommends as well), guys and gals.

"does NOT. MAKE. SENSE." Makes perfect sense. The Reapers want to bring Humans up to their level. TIM wants humans to surive and achieve greater status. They kinda want the same things. We will be changed by the process but we will survive, but if we fight many will die. I think he's looking at it in terms of the greater good.Zebron is reaL wrote...

Because this won't be nearly as fun as fighting legions of texture-swapped mercenaries.ciaweth wrote...
So basically, this could be summed up as, "Mass Effect is now all about zombies." Like there aren't enough zombie games out there already.

One of the most emotionally visceral scenes I've experienced in a video game, that famous 'microwave' scene. I'd love to see something tug at my heartstrings like that in ME3, but I'd also hate it.
