.... Dungeons and Dragons Online is a living proof ....
....of a crap game.
methinks your opinion of what is crap is, is not shared by everyone. From what i have seen others say, it's pretty popular even if it can get old if you play it too long. ( but then most games are like that ). I am saying this as someone who has not played it, and listening to people I respect ( and are respected in the community ) who say they actually enjoy it.
You should stick to a statement of how you don't like it, instead of repeating it's no good.
It is very easy to call things crap, but frankly i'd prefer to have more crap using D&D content, RPG crap, and fantasy crap, and crap that has toolsets and dm clients. Sometimes perfection is the enemy of the good, and while i don't think DDO is the greatest game ever, it does sound good to me. I think we should stop being so overly critical of a a game i frankly hope remains successful even after that new NWO comes out, just so i have an option that is pre 4th edition rules ( which are not crap i just prefer the rules i am using now or pathfinder ). From what i've seen there is no game made which is good enough for everyones criteria, and most game developers i think have soured on what we most care about - our future is one of consoles, MMO's and DLC crap which ensures they have very big houses with lots of bathrooms.
Now what was the topic we are in before the bathroom break. Oh yeah someone posted a pretty negative review, it seemed like trolling, we argued about if it is trolling, the original poster said he was going to give the game another chance after hearing the camera is fixable via simple ini changes, then a bunch of folks just read the first post and piled on about how it IS trolling and also how we should not call posts trolling, then we wondered where the moderators were, since they usually lock things like this, and then of course it's now all about DDO and how often resting should be allowed modules.
Methinks this thread has outlived it's usefulness as the original reason for it's existence was replaced by another thread about camera issues long ago. Lot of good things being discussed, i just would never be able to find them later in a thread whose title is about how awful nwn2 is.
