Bioware lies to us again: Mass Effect 3 isn't even out yet and Bioware has already failed to deliver on one of their promises.

It is plausable to view the info in the mag as legit. Since Bioware is not saying what part of the article is wrong .

Flat out denial is a spoiler in it's own right, all they have to say is don't take everything you hear as EXACTLY how it will be once you have the game in hand.

well then it looks like the info  is  legit then . If one can not denie something is fake that usuall means its the truth

You must be new to forums for unreleased games.

I'm going to write in my blog that Shepard is a Reaper, if BioWare doesn't set me straight then clearly it's true.

Anyway now you know what Bioware is like that means you can take action to prevent yourself from being spoiled by not reading previews of anything ME 3 related.  Take it from me by the time we actually get ME 3 we will know pretty much everything about the story, that is just the way they are.

100% Correct!

I really think it is time for me to go and not look at anymore ME3 related content until I play the game. Bioware has a history of lying and when it comes to spoilers, it is like they just can't help themselves. They also said that we will find out in the game how to defeat the Reapers, that is also a supposendly "closely guarded secret" but I wonder how long it will be until that goes public?

With that being said, if I can't believe them when they say they will keep certain things secret, how am I supposed to believe them when they say ME3 will have better RPG elements and choices playing a larger role?

This really changes everything.

"they just can't help themselves". Right, just like you couldn't help yourself to reading a thread with "ME3 Spoilers" in the title.

Grow up man, your sounding like a child. You chose read a thread with "Spoilers" in the title so don't start complainning that it spoiled some of ME3 for you.

You're right, I need to grow up, I'm just a 4-year old little girl who needs more maturity.

Seriously though, it might be my fault for reading such things, but you still deny the fact that BIoware lied.

To keep this short, Bioware has talked about how they will closely guard plot spoilers this time around when trying to market ME3. They also said that the reason why Cerberus is after Shepard is something that they are keeping close to their chest and the players will just have to play the game to find out.

Well if anyone read the recent PC Gamer article or looked at the scans, you might have found out why Cerberus is attacking Shepard. I won't spoil it for you but it is a definate plot spoiler.

I would really like Chris P or someone from Bioware to explain why they lied to us and gave us this false impression and/or comfort that the Cerberus attacking Shepard (along with other major plot spoilers) would not be given out to the media to eventually tell us. Yet in the PC Gamer article, it CLEARY states why Cerberus is after Shepard.

Does Bioware have a short term memory?

You're a class act Bioware and you finally gave me a reason to not follow your game until release.

I agree, but I also understand that It's my fault, also that Cerberus spoilers was kinda obvious so I'm not freaking out like it's the end of the world.
Another stupid thing that magazine did was mistaking the picture of Ashley, saying that it could be  new NPC or a new "femshep"
I mean, dude, what the **** do they have in their mind?

I have to say, this fandom is the creepiest, most illogical group ever. I've been a fan of Transformers for a long time, and none of the drama that they conjure even comes close to the frequency and sheer absurdity of a lot of what I see here.

I would think that the most intelligent game I've played would have fans to match, but the ratio here is troubling. When a dude named "Brownfinger" is telling you to grow up, maybe it's time to re-examine some things.

BioWare has garnared a long list of dedicated trolls, your guess is as good as mine as to why.  You just gotta sift through the muck to find people on the same sanity level.

Your reply says it all.

Also, where's your proof that BioWare lied. There is no proof that BioWare went up to the journalist and said "Hey just thought I'd let your know, Cerberus _____________________________"

Did you ever think that perhaps while PC Gamer was watching the demo or something they overheard of even saw something they weren't supposed to then added it to their article. There are many things that could've happend.

BioWare mahy not be comming in here because people like you. Things may have been leaked but people like you just bash them with insults and demand explanations. Get over yourself.

Seems odd to me to call out Bioware on spoilers , then demand that they confirm or deny the more cryptic ones.

Oh so its ok for Bioware  to put the info in the GI article and then say oh we are not talking about that anymore . Now that PC Gamer has a ME 3 mag article and they tell us the reason .

You seriously think that the author is posting information from something that he "overheard" in a conversation. That is a very "denial" way of looking at things.

People still just cannot grasp the idea that Bioware lied. Damn, I am a Bioware fan but not some fanboy who will follow Bioware even if they punched their mother in the face.

Its almost like a cult.....

If they are not going to denie the info in the mag is false then its only logical to assume the mag has correct info in it .

I wouldn't say she has a right to call Bioware out on this, it isn't like it is "unusual" behaviour for Bioware.  As I said they have had a history of saying one thing and doing the complete opposite.  If I had a friend that had a history of being an Arsonist I would be pretty stupid to believe him if he said "yeah leave me alone with this box of matches I won't set fire to your house honest".

When Bioware said "we won't ruin ME 3 by releasing plot lines" I didn't believe it for a second.  As I said by the time ME 3 hits the shelves we will know pretty much everything about the story and plot.  It doesn't matter if Bioware came in here and said "nope we are keeping spoiliers from you, cross our heart, hope to die, scouts honour" you can bet your life they will still release spoilers in previews.

My honnest answer? Yes. It seems logical to me that the journalist may have written somethings based on something he overheard while at BioWare HQ or somethings. Yes. Their journalist.. they want people to purchase their article so they will give "exclusive" information which isn't always accurate. They spread the truth all the time.

Also, don't call me a BioWare "fanboy". I am not. I am a BioWare fan.. but I mean, my first BioWare game was ME2 that I started playing half a year ago.
