Bioware lies to us again: Mass Effect 3 isn't even out yet and Bioware has already failed to deliver on one of their promises.

So if everything Bioware says is a lie, then everything they said in PC Gamer is a lie too.
On a more relevant note, OP has a very valid point. Fans of this game -- some of the most devoted fans of this game, in fact -- have two choices. Live in a self-imposed exile in which they can't enjoy forum debates or speculation for fear of spoilers, or have the game itself spoiled.
It's a fair point
And yes, that is one of the more balanced and harmonious pyramids I think I've ever seen.

lol PC gamer might have just left out a question mark instead of a period on that reaper sentence. Even if they ARE working with them, whats really been spoiled? Whats cool will be figuring out all the details and reasons, nothing really has been spoiled except "omg the bad guys are maybe working towards the same goal as the OTHER bad guy!! no waiii"
Yep, not really any spoilers. As I said before, we still don't know: who, what, when, where, how, why, because.. etc.
I think people should just take a deep breath, relax, and wait.

To keep this short, Bioware has talked about how they will closely guard plot spoilers this time around when trying to market ME3. They also said that the reason why Cerberus is after Shepard is something that they are keeping close to their chest and the players will just have to play the game to find out.
Well if anyone read the recent PC Gamer article or looked at the scans, you might have found out why Cerberus is attacking Shepard. I won't spoil it for you but it is a definate plot spoiler.
I would really like Chris P or someone from Bioware to explain why they lied to us and gave us this false impression and/or comfort that the Cerberus attacking Shepard (along with other major plot spoilers) would not be given out to the media to eventually tell us. Yet in the PC Gamer article, it CLEARY states why Cerberus is after Shepard.
Does Bioware have a short term memory?
You're a class act Bioware and you finally gave me a reason to not follow your game until release.
they really didnt spoil anything , we all knew cerberus is after shep , and there is only one reason as to why
the moment the first imagenes of shep fighting cerberus appeard it was clear as to what was happening with the illusive man
and no its not "tim goes all emo after me2 for the collector base so he wants shep dead"

Ok. I just finished reading all the posts so far. This is what I got: MJ (the OP) says that Bioware repeatedly lies and cannot be trusted. Yet MJ has repeatedly given Bioware money as his/her registered games indicate.
So is MJ A) An idiot for continuing to invest in such a dishonest company?A poser who thinks that being the contrary is just cool?
C) A troll?
D) Most likely to have ME3 on that list under their name and keep raggin' anyway?
The reasoning behind my post is because if a person is truly as convinced as MJ would like us to believe, that they are dealing with a company this dishonest, would they really come to the company website and chat about their products everyday? Keep on buying their stuff? Reading up on articles and promos about a future product?
I think not.
I don't trust the U.S. government, but I live here, pay taxes and vote.

... *sigh* .... Two completely different scenarios and big price differences. Don't compare the two.

I don't know why, but when I was reading your post I instantly imagined the doors in the movie the Labyrinth one that always tells a lie and the other that always tells the true.

What you provided is a fair point, the OP should reflect a more measured argument such as yours, IMHO.
On a side note, I wonder how much info was extrapolated from Bioware in that article. In other words, I wonder how much of that was the journalist simply assuming, and reading too much into what might have been said.
I say that because, if I recall correctly, there was originally going to be that connection between Legion and Shepard throughtout ME2.
But during development, that plot progression changed. And I think Thane's role also changed.
So really, how can anyone of us, outside of Bioware claim any certainty about what is a spoiler anyway?

Point being, until it's confirmed we should discuss the possibilities, but remember that it's just that: a possibility.

We don't know for certain if Cerberus is working for the Reapers and even if that's true, we don't know why they're working for them. There would have to be a really, really good reason for the pro-human group to suddenly start actively working towards the downfall of the species they claim to want to save.
I think the idea is stupid
