Ok, this may sound really silly but ....

I have a registered copy of Mass Effect 2 currently.
(Its the Standard Edition, Pre-Ordered through the EA store back at launch time)

Today, I decided to pick up the Digital Deluxe Edition off STEAM.

But now Im left with a couple questions once I get here to register.

How do I register it?
The only option I have for Mass Effect 2, is to remove the registration (that I have currently)
Will that effect my DLCs as well? Im not sure if they are tied to that registartion key or not.

I have no issue removing the current key and replacing with the DD edition keys, but I am concerned about DLCs. This is why I wanted to use the same account, since they are tied to it.
And I have all DLCs, save for Overlord, and do not want to loose them.

I was given 3 keys. A Cerebus Key, a Promo Key, and a Game Key.

The Promo Key was no issue.  It took, and got my bonus Rifle and Armor.

Do I need to register the Deluxe Game Key and/or Cerebus key?

Theoretically, the DLC are linked to your account, not to the product key, so you shouldnt have any problems de-registering the standard addition, and registering the DD edition.
That said, we are talking about EA and their dodgy business practices, so no idea if it will work like that in reality. Seeing as you already have the various DLC apart from Overlord, I wouldnt take the risk.

Thanks for your reply.
Im a bit worried about risking it so Ill likely just leave it as is.

Thinking about it, is there really anything different with the DD keys apart from the bonus armor/weapons? The bonus items are a Promo code .. and since I was able to claim them and they are avaialable, I shouldnt be missing anything should I?

You shouldnt miss anything. The Collectors Edition was similar. One code for the game, then another code included for the Collectors armour/weapon pack.
