Can you run this game at all, and if so, how well?

No, it's a laptop. I'd hoped it could run the full version of DA:O since it can run the Character Creator so well, but perhaps I should just stick to the Xbox 360 version.

The character creator cannot function in any form as a demo. It will run on almost anything down to an Atari 2600.

Neither of those uses the Dragon Age game engine, so they cannot be compared.

(And this is only for the raw hardware & driver variations.  Potential software conflicts are far more likely to be game play problems, and developers cannot test for all possible program loads.)

Overnight, we have a new member with a "Brazos" APU who should have asked if his Netbook was up to the task before buying the game.  That's what threads like this one are all about, and here is his question.
