I bought Mass Effect 2 though steam, and downloaded the shadow broker DLC from this link: In order to validate this game, it requires me to log onto the cerberus network and enter a cerberus code, of which I have none. Don't know if I was supposed to get an email with the code or what, but I have not gotten it. Any solutions?

You need to register your copy of the game on the forums, under My Games -> register games. You then need to log into the cerberus network in ME2 using the same account you used on these forums to register the game and download the DLC with.

Registered the game, but still do not have a cerberus key. Tried using the key that my steam account gave me, but it did not work.

You will need to contact Steam then in order to get that. Once they have sent it to you, you go to Profile - Redeem Promo Code and punch it in there.

Tried the "game code" instead of the "cerberus code" and it went through. Still don't know if there's anything else I have to do afterwards to make sure it's working.
