http://img683.images...errorscreen.png That is a screenshot of the second time it crashed. Can anyone tell me what is wrong and provide a workaround or solution?
My computer ran the ME2 demo fine so I doubt it's a hardware problem.
Just bought ME1 from steam... Crashes during dialogue in the first few scenes repeatedly...Help?

-My graphics card is an ATI Radion 4800 HD and I am pretty sure it has to latest drivers (going to check now anyway)
-I am unsure how to determine my sound adapter but it came with the computer when I bought it and I do not recall ever updating it.
-Windows XP SP3

Open up the config utility for ME, go to the "System" tab, take a screenshot and post it. It will have the driver versions listed, as well as your audio device.
Also need a bit more info on the crashing. Does it do it in the same spot all the time, or different spots?

Sorry about the time wasting. it seems that restarting has eliminated the crashes but thanks anyway.
