  I watched the trailer again for Dragon Age 2 the other day. Hawke was fighting the Arishok. Cool animation, looks bloody real. BUT I CANNOT GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD- WHEN HAWKE IS ALMOST OUT-OF-WIND AND READY TO FALL- HE HAS A SERIOUS FLASHBACK OF DOZENS OF SCENES. Why am I yelling?
 No seriously...this is partly why I BOUGHT THE GAME...and then when Flemeth and Hawke traded barbs about him "becoming a dragon", and now having played THREE TIMES, I remembered after the flashback, Hawke's eyes get blood-red...obviously something has awakened within him. The Arishok wet himself.

 Or so we were led to believe. The game turned out to be a piece of patches from an incomplete game thrown into the market. Or is this all a teaser?

 Okay...who keeps the torches lit in all the locations, like the Deep Roads and Caverns? Why do Darkspawn need light? Oh, and do they make fires to barb-que? Why do we need to check barrels and crates for trash? It only extends the game, as most of it is- well- TRASH! Why do we have to fish for Armor Upgrades for our companions- why not just have it happen at level-up?

 Where is the Flemeth/Morrigan storyline, why was it even shown, if some made different choices at the end of DA:O?
My hero knocked her up and let her go in "Witch Hunt". She AND Flemeth have mentioned all hell is going to break loose. I WANT ANSWERS, WHERE'S MY BABY? Is he a new shapeshifting dragon-boi? Is that where the 'Warden' and Hawke went? To find the Golden Child?
 "Give me the knife...."

 If the city has sewers, why do the people have only a plank-hole and a bucket??? No running water?

There are so many things that make me go 'hmmmmmmmmmm....'

The Dwarves built the deep roads so that the lava would warm and light the highways forever, several dwarves mention this in both games.

Trailer hawke is a Blood Mage, that's just him remembering ****, getting pisses, using blood magic to amp his spells, and getting a killing blow with crushing prison.

Spiders obviously come from the Great Spider God, Ubuntnikzdu, who created evil spiderlings as revenge for the defeat suffered at the hands of the Maker in the Great Battle of Kudzulos ages ago, before the second Blight. Or did you not read the Codex on that?

Not everything has to be explained to the most minute detail. And it's a game, don't take it too seriously. You're going to mortally wound yourself if you do. True story. But I got better.

When everyone argued against you in that thread about how rogues do do more damage than 2 handed warriors, you still continue to argue? Thanks for the death threat via PM Amioran. You blocked me straight away after which proves what a coward you are.


For your sake, you should pray we never meet because I take death threats very seriously to the point where I will take the law into my hands.

But to send me a death threat because my opinion about a class in a video game is different from your opinion about a class in a video game shows that you really need professional help. I don't know if I should pray you get that help or if you should pray we don't meet because it's a small world and you may soon be regreting those threats.

But I'm done with you now. You can continue to argue and present your paranoid theories to everyone but I don't think anyone cares.

Trailer was made by a bunch of CGI artists, you cannot take anything from there to be anything besides looking cool.

The artists were given a pile of concept images, given a 5 minute video of gameplay and a rough script consisting of
SCENE1: Arisok and hawk fight and it is badass. Arisok dies in awesome magic move. End.

Then they are told go go wild.

Same with sacred ashes video for DAO.

I always figured trailer hawke was a bloodmage/reaver hybrid of sorts, with a sprinkle of berserker in there.

As for the spiders I think a Bioware employee stole them from my home. Bloody massive Huntsman's.
But if you want to make all it better just use the awesome button. It will help, trust me

Yes, I'm in Brisbane (East coast). I don't feel very manly (am female) but will take it as a compliment on my bravery when I'm running screaming (Anders would be proud) from spiders that can almost outrun me

Was I the only one hoping for some strange cross-class possibilities? I was hoping for the possibility of a berserker mage who could draw on his/her rage to pump out some massive spells - like a cooler angrier version of spell might.
Or maybe a warrior/rogue with some slight magical abilities - though given the way they leap around exploding things I suppose there wouldn't be a lot of difference there.

So glad I'm not on the east coast! haha. Only come across the odd huntsman very rarely.
There do seem to be a few rather large spiders that think it's a fun idea to leave their webs across paths and terrorise anyone walking past, but in my house I only get baby spiderlings. They sort of look pretty cute in a 'half-transparent ant' kind of way.

Should have heard my grandmother's story about a Black Mamba crossing over her bare foot during her childhood. Gave me nightmares for about 3 months.

also, I had what was described as a 6 foot thresher shark swim by me as I was snorkling the Nugaloo reef during the trip.
