Eeep re the snakes, thank god I don't have to worry about them in the middle of the city.

Was I the only one hoping for some strange cross-class possibilities? I was hoping for the possibility of a berserker mage who could draw on his/her rage to pump out some massive spells - like a cooler angrier version of spell might.
Or maybe a warrior/rogue with some slight magical abilities - though given the way they leap around exploding things I suppose there wouldn't be a lot of difference there.
I could get behind that. Say, trade 1.5x spell cost for 1.5x damage? Applies to both mana and health usage (NO GETTING AROUND THAT YOU PESKY BLOOD MAGES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). It'd at least afford some sort of tactical gameplay (health/mana vs. damage, especially for longer, multi-wave battles).

THINGS THAT MAKE ME GO "HMMMMMMMMMMMM" IN DA:2....
No snakes or big lizards?
It is the Age of Dragons...why do we fight only a few bigguns? They can fly, yes? Hmmm...not to Kirkwall and burn some of those Po' Ferelden folk?
Hmmmmmmmm...where's the Loo in the camp of the Qunari? Where's the kitchen? The WOMEN? Are they LIKE WORMS? They breed asexually?
Why does Anders try and play with my azz? Useless mass-murderer. How come we couldn't be allowed to nuke him and "Justice"??? Instead, he blows up the wrong part of town OOPS, "I am a mage...and I just killed the Chantry! Missed that witch Meridith! Epic FAIL!"
Hmmmmmm.......I must ponder...it is the way of the Qun dung beetle...

^It's called Dragon Age -- in the lore -- as two dragons made an appearance around 8:99 Blessed -- yep, epic dragon fight --, people believed them extinct -- says something about the low amount of them.
The Qunari were only a warparty, a women have no place on the battlefield according to the qun. Have the game taken place in Par Vollen, then you would probably have spotted qunari females.
[SPOILER]Anders blew the chantry because it was the only thing that could possible create some sort of compromize, which Anders did not want.[END SPOILER]
As for what causes me to go "hmmm" is teleporattion in DA2, it's deemed impossible by the rules of magic in the DA universe, and rogues, they do it even without magic....

I've always wondered how I missed the pride demon in my basement in act 1
