And ... oh yeah ... DA2 is the most disappointing ending in a Bioware game since ever since.

You've never played "Black Mirror", have you?

As for the Warden Commander ending...

First time I got it, it was triggered by the "Alistair thinks he is king even when he isn't" bug. (Made Anora solo queen after executing Loghain) So I wasn't moved and did not cry but I cussed quite a bit because it is the most aggravating bug I've ever encountered in an RPG since ever since.:innocent::P

You did what now?!Image IPB

I was a very non-enlightened gal back then. *Hangs head in shame* Haven't done that ever since.

To be honest, all my infatuation/fascination with Loghain aside, it was the way the whole thing was handled that played a huge part in me being unable to do that ever again. I've watched a parent die myself.... So that scene struck home much more than it should have.

@Perse I had the same experience when I brought Carver with me into the Deep Roads without Anders. I lost my little brother in a traffic accident two years ago.

*Hugs* My condolences. DAII managed two such moments in my case. When I wasn't yet six, my little sister fell into a coma as we were playing. I never saw her again and 4 days later she was dead. (2 years later my youngest sister was born. Yet I feel that dark haired angel's loss still....24 years later)

I also watched my mother die of cancer. Leandra saying similar things as my mother did ("My little girl has become so strong....etc.) had me bawling.

*accepts hug* Thanks sis, that means a lot. And i'm sure our families are at a better place, and are watching over us proudly. And my brother was only 23 years old when he was coming home from work, when a drunk driver ran into him(they caught the bastard). I was 25 at the time. I miss him every day, every waking moment of my life. We were really close...

I swore on that day that I would spend a lot more time with my family, and if I give birth to a son, i'm gonna name him after my brother. I think that is the best way to honor him.

I am sure of that too, I firmly believe that they are our guardian angels. And I'm sure your brother would love that idea.

@Perse In some ways, you're quite similar to him. You both defend the thngs you love so stubbornly, you refuse to to be overturned by cynicism, and you're both such sweethearts. Don't ever change :) *hugs her passionately*

*Hugs back* That's a compliment I'll treasure, truly. I do have a cynical/sarcastic streak at times, but I do try to keep it under wraps.
