It would be interesting as hell to see how Morinth would react to someone not dying from engaging in sex with her. Something tells me she's afraid of having an actual relationship.
I don't think she's afraid at all. I think she's neither interested, nor capable.

Morinth is the classic example of a sociopath.
Despite being the most evil squadmate and a hedonist degenerate she shows signs of a moral conscious(calling the CB an abomination).
It's too bad her implemtation as a squadmate is so half-assed, she had great potential for character development.

I'M not angry, but i wouldn't be suprised either. but the fact that TIM is more upfront about his decieptful actions(claiming them to be for the greater good or whatever) leads me to think that is not an enemy.

If they don't answer the question then . yeah you dam right the pc gamer mag was right all a long . Its a bull sh*t reason and lame garbage .

Ummm, how'd you come to that conclusion? More than anyone, the only thing Morinth cares about is her self preservation.

I’m not angry. I don't think many people are actually angry about it, just concerned maybe. I'm just saying what I don't want to see or hope they don’t do and occasionally discussing it a bit because I feel like it.JoeClose wrote...

That and she'd probably react the same way any human sociopath reacts to their own relationships: fake it if there is some benefit (economically, social status, etc.) and if the only benefit was sucking them dry and that isn't working then ditch them; gotta remember whose number one here.PrinceLionheart wrote...

Not that I am for Cerberus but your given a strong sense that we need to work with them to destroy the Reapers. I mean its not surprising that they are against you in ME3 but like most a good explantion would be nice not the guess in PC gamers mag. I know Cerberus has different methods for how they do things, but its clear that they want to help with the Reaper Threat/ Invasion.
So as a Paragon Pro-Alliance Shepard, it doesnt make sense why TIM is against us. But like I said once in another thread, we shouldnt have been put in the position that we were put in ME2 in the first place. That whole plot point was sweeped under the rug as fast as it was shown to us. So if there was true meaning to it I have a feeling it might bite us in the **** in ME3, sorta like how it was shown in Overlord.

Mmm I like TIM tho I don’t “support” him or Cerberus. He still needs to get shot at some point tho it would have been after the reapers are dealt with if he was not attacking you. It’s not surprising that they are after you in ME3 with how many hints they gave you at the end on ME2. Especially the renegade ending. He even gives you “The Smirk”...yeah this isn’t going to end well but they do need to have an actual solid reason for what they are doing especially when working with or hindering efforts against the reapers hurts them too. Preferably one that doesn’t involve the idiot ball or indoctrination. Black or grey it doesn’t matter, it makes no sense for them to screw over their own goals.DarthSliver wrote...

There may well be a good explanation we just have to wait and see. Of course that does not mean we can’t discuss it in the meantime.

I will retain an open mind and hope that Bioware will throw us Cerberus fans a bone in ME3, perhaps being able to fight in a civil war between Reaper-controlled Cerberus cells and those loyal to Cerberus's pro-human ideals, ie pro-Cerberus Shepard vs. a Sarenified TIM.
Your puns are probably even more awesome if they're unintentional.
While Cerberus working against our hero in ME3 isn't all that surprising, imo it's somewhat disappointing in that sort of 'predictable way.' While I would be incredibly surprised if they did end up using an approximation of my idea as Saphra sort of outlined earlier, I'm hoping that the reason that Cerberus is working against you and/or for the Reapers is suitably machiavellean and a little bit more emotionally complex than something along the lines of TIM thinking: "The Reapers are something that will herald in a new dawn for humanity" or worse that TIM had planned it this way all the long.

She's been killing people through sex for hundreds of years and finally seeing someone actually survive it would surprise the hell out of her to say the least. It'd be like the sun rising from the west all of a sudden.

Ahh, I was under the impression that you meant the cipher is a means for the Reapers to get something they want that was originally owned by the Protheans themselves, but I would have thought they'd have that anyway since they've already subjugated and more to the point, tested, the Protheans.thurmanator692 wrote...
I'm not saying that the cipher in itself is what they want, but it may lead to other things they do want

That sounds a little different from "We don't hate aliens, but humanity comes first."
I'm more of the Kaidan's advice (God bless his nuclearized bones): "Aliens are not different, they have heroes and bastards exactly as us."
Human dominance =/= Anti-alien.
Human domiance = Anti-alien.
To control another race is to deny them liberty. That seems anti-alien. Unless self-determination is optional. >_>
Dominance doesn't necessarily mean controling them. It can just mean having the most sway via wealth and military power. The Council for instance with it's Turian muscle has dominance over all the non-council species in it's space.
This. Technically the U.S is the dominant power in the world (at the moment), this doesn't mean that they're anti everyone else. We have absolutely no evidence to prove whether TIM does or doesn't want to control other races. So saying that he is planning on this is a baseless claim.
If you want to get into how the US has undermined other countries, for its own benefit, for the past 60 years, I am ready to go. But, it is a red herring. There is evidence that TIM wants to control other races. Experimenting on alien races, as has been pointed out on this thread. All the experiments in creating biological weapons in ME 1. "human nationalist focused on advancing human interests, whatever the cost to non-human" & " warned that an alien attempt at human genocide was inevitable" - from the Codex. No, he is a real boy scout.
I'm not denying that the U.S has undermined many other countries for its own benefit but what I was trying to say was that they are not ruling over every other country's governments, Same could be true with Cerberus- they have done a few unethical experiments to undermine other races so that humanity has a competitive edge in the galaxy, but this doesn't necessarily mean that they will rule over the other races' governments and oppress them. And making Bio-weapons in ME1 could just have easily been to protect humans rather than attack and oppress other races- as Miranda said, had Cerberus used Rachni at Eden Prime, many lives could have been saved.

Then again, maybe Miranda's been playing everyone like a fool by pretending to be turned by Shepard against Cerberus by acting to play to the player's ego.didymos1120 wrote...
