So we can all agree LotSB> Overlord> Kasumi> Arrival, right?

I prefer Overlord. The mystery elements, the conflicted man trope done well (and by the marvelous Simon Templeman at that) in Gavin Archer, the creepiness, the multiple locations across a landscape with more usage of the Hammerhead (which I quite liked, thank you very much). It all came together very nicely for me.

Overlord > Lair of the Shadow Broker > Kasumi: Stolen Memory > Arrival > Zaeed: The Price of Revenge > Firewalker.

LotSB is definitely the best, and probably the best portion of the game, period.

The key defining feature of most of the DLCs is dialogue. Overlord and Arrival both have good stories and some interesting gameplay, but are severely lacking in the dialogue department. There is no unique squad banter, barely any mention they are there save for the single mention of Legion made by an NPC if you take him along. With such large areas to explore (especially the different zones of Overlord), and such interesting locales, there should really have been some dialogue with your team.

Arrival handled it better, I think, by having Shepard alone, and it did have some enemy banter, which was refreshing. It was a really interesting shift to the gameplay which did a lot to emphasize that it was the close of ME2, in my mind.

As for ranking them, it's hard to do. As I said, I loved Lair of the Shadow Broker the most (it packed more character interaction into a single DLC pack than it felt like we got for most of the other characters in the game period, and had what was quite simply the best combat banter ever written when fighting alongside Liara), but I can't really rate the others. I liked them all, and felt they were all worth the money.

LOTSB > Overlord (Remember to play as Femshep) > Arrival

I don't count Kasumi in it since Stolen memory is not the same type of DLC like the others. But I will comment that while I liked memory, I actual found Kasumi somewhat of a letdown considering I paid for her.

I have to say this too.

Most powerful DLC endings:

Overlord>Kasumi>Arrival>LotSB

What made you think that Kasumi & Arrival had a better ending than LOTSB?

There will hardly ever be a question on which all people will agree. Maybe the need of female aliens... But, professional reviewers are with you, OP. :P

I said most POWERFUL ending, not best ending.

And by that I meant most emotional.

Then let me rephrase my question. Why did you feel those were the most powerful endings?

I'd say SB > OL > Arrival > Kasumi for the overall game feeling and experience and why Kasumi what about zeeds too? She's the odd ball in this equation.

Now for emotionally engaging SB > OL tied with Arrival > Kasumi.

Can't we just say that LotSB is the best DLC and the others are more or less worse.

Honestly with the other DLC it all comes down to length for me, and shorter equals better so I can get back to the better Main Quest.

So Kasumi>Arrival>Overlord.

Honestly Overlord would have been A LOT better if it was just the Satellite-Geth Ship-Overlord Project.

Yeah LotSB first -I see (almost) no one arguing this point. Too bad BW didn't put the same effort in the rest of their DLC.

Compared to LotSB the rest of the DLC feels pretty much like filler. I think the part that irks me the most is the fact that your squad doesn't have anything to say for the new content...it's like it doesn't exist in their universe.

LOTSB>Overlord>Kasumi>Arrival

I really didn't get what was going on in Arrival after the escape from the prison, and was taken aback by Shepard not being with the Normandy or anyone finding it odd how Shepard had lost all communication/contact for 2 days/weeks.

And why the Reapers basically told him a plan to destroy something they needed? And the fact I was horrified to hear (I think) Joker's voice wasn't the original voice actor.
I just found Arrival to have a fair few plot holes and rather silly parts. But that is my opinion :P And wont be right to everyone!

No, Joker didn't talk in Arrival.  They did basically the same thing as BDtS: have some new voice pinch hit. In BDtS, it was some VI.  In Arrival, Random J. Crewmember.

The only really good part of Arrival is the final 20 or so minutes; the rest wasn't particularly impressive.

LotSB is definately my favourite out of all the DLC's Image IPB

The others were fantastic though. Kasumi's Mission was just beautiful Image IPB

Arrival doesn't really deserve most of the hate on this board, seeing as it was only a ME3 prelude.

I'm not sure anyone actually "hates" it, Spar. The problem with Arrival is it came after the masterpiece that is LOTSB, and it was completely subpar in terms of what LOTSB gave us. Hence, it felt like a disappointment as we were expecting something at least comparable to the quality of LOTSB. Looking at it from an objective point of view, it clearly wasn't meant to be anything other than just that -- a prelude to an ME3 epilogue.

I think of Arrival as a teaser for ME3. In that department, it delivered. Compared to the other DLCs, it's...okay at best.

For me it's LotSB> Overlord> Kasumi> Zaeed> Firewalker> Horse Armour> Arrival.

Arrival was the first time I had been disappointed with a Bioware product.

Arrival would have been great as a plot to a TPS, but I was hoping for a mass effect DLC. In an RPG I'd like to be able to roleplay, but in two hours I got to choose about six lines of dialogue, most of which were investigate options.

Overlord is first because of atmosphere and ending. Minus the Hammerhead parts. It all seemed harmless...
Kasumi is a wonderful mix of puzzle solving, humour, shooting YMIRs and cutscenes. And finally good dress without Cerberus logo!
Zaeed has a completely unappealing mission - but this is Zaeed Massani!
LotSB is a completely dull story which violently friended me with a character I didn't particulary like. Forumites' theories about SB were way more interesting. The only good part - dossiers. Waaaste of moooney.
Arrival... I wouldn't complain if only last 15-20 minutes of it would left. Plus, lack of emotional response from Colonist Shepard.

??? Overlord had great dialouge, well at least between Shepard and Archer.  With the squad it was certainly lacking though but thats been beaten into the ground already.  Agree with you on Arrival, that was certainly rushed for dialogue. Eh to me LOTSB=Overlord, i really liked both of those DLCs and feel like a minority on the forum that trul enjoyed Overlord.

I dont get the hate for the firewalker in that section either, it was refreshing to test out my vehicle skills, looking at beautiful landscape and running over spacecows.  And for the combat areas is was superb, perhaps better than LOTSB if lacking amazing boss fights.
