I'll post C&C ion the MEC forums when I'm done like I said I would, but one more thing-I loved Khalisha whats her name Al Jiana's cameo.
The Alpha its self is a WIP of the final intro, we will be adding more and beefing it out over time aswell as fine tuning and refining all aspects.
This is mainly just to get a playable version out there for you guys to try and see where we are going with it, so all the comments and feedback are very welcome! And please keep 'em coming.

I really enjoyed it. My only real complaint was the combat with the mercs was confusing (the simulators were not so) and that the enemy's health bar doesn't show. Also, this is more trivial, but would it be possible to have your party appear onscreen, following you? Similar to in mardek rpg? (google if you haven't played)
Using RPG maker, you'll obviously need custom scripts to achieve those two, but there are several that have already been made. Could you use them?
I agree wtih Dominusvita, some of the dialogue falls a little flat. Mainly Vazill's convo with his brother and the merc's dialogue. ("whatever, just not here? Huh?") I don't think it's lack of talent as most of the writing was pretty neat, but I just think a littlle more refined dialouge in the actual release would be worth it.
Finally, it would be good to see some more party banter. That felt a little lacking, but the convos with Morwin were nice.
Overall though, this was really good. Lots of work clearly put in, great work. I can't wait for more releases and the finished game.

The system you are referring to is named "Caterpillar". I believe that we had some problems applying it, but I should ask Norton about it anyway.

- My turian just danced all night with a hanar and then stumbled into some random Citadelite's apartment to sleep in the bed. Seriously, how can you not like a game where you can boogie with a jellyfish?

Also, does using the Kitten give a load of credits, cos I'm pretty sure I didn't have 60000 before I used it lol?
Only bad thing is that for some reason the terminals with the letters-to-numbers hacking wont work properly for me. When I get the right code I press enter but then it tells me that the time ran out and the terminal locks

No, the kitten does not add money, so.... there's probably a left-over event that us Dev's were using to gain quick credits for testing purposes. Will have to look for that and dispose.
Also....
I would LOVE to have a working caterpillar system, but sadly it doesn't seem to work with the pixel-by-pixel script we use. I hope that one day I can remedy this, but for now we'll have to go without.
