Loved the little things like the doors opening like in ME2 with the green panel and red when they are locked or the C-Sec scan. It may be little things but they greatly improve immersion.

and thus Criz was very happy ;)
little surprise to those who follow the 'what we're working on'-thread on the forums and remember the fuzz I made about the doors

Did anybody else buy the star chart and go to the other system? I was really excited when I actually landed on another planet, but alas, there was nothing to do. :(

Immersion +100%

@darknoon5

Lol you could land on the planet? How did I miss that. I did buy the chart and travel to that system though and did some mining :P

Space exploration is a huge WIP. There's not much to do at the moment, but in the next update we plan on having it much more refined along with more to do in-space...

There's two planets. In the bottom right corner there is one with a moon orbiting it you can land on...nothing to do though, and you're still on your ship.

Uhm, probably this has already pointed out by someone, but:
- the elcor merchant does not buy minerals, even if you do have some in your inventory (maybe this was cut out for the Alpha version?)
- the terminal near the Vortex pub, once hacked, unlocks a document and an assignment; however, the assignment does not appear in the journal and, if you try to read the document ("exile") the game crashes because it cannot find a .txt document related to that event

I have to say that I am a bit underwhelmed about the popularity of the thread, but your positive comments and feedback totally make up for it!

The thread is also in a part of the forum that doesn't get as much traffic as the general discussion section (I think).. in fact I only literally stumbled into the thread from outside this section of the forum.

Also, if there's people like me, I actually often completely skip over the sticky threads and scroll right down to the non-stickies since my brain just assumes the stickies are the same ones I've read weeks / months ago.. so in that sense (perhaps?) being sticky isn't necessarily beneficial, hehe.

Still, a bloody shame though... more people need to try & talk about this little game you guys have been working on. It's as good (fun) as many of the top-end indie games I buy off steam for 5 bucks here and there.

The Alpha is great, guys. I hope everyone here in the BSN community sees this and enjoys what you've all been working on. Good job, and keep up the good work!

Interesting I just finished the demo.

Even in its unfinished state it was pretty damned fun and I was definitely intrigued. The only thing I couldn't figure out was how to heal but its hard to criticize a game in those respects when its hardly complete, just something to keep in mind. Other than that very much enjoyed it.

I'll tell some people about it and spread the word best I can.

So far I've only played a few bits of the demo, but I really am enjoying it. Great work so far on the Demo!

Would like to see inclusion of a 'Back' button or Esc Key for the extranet screen though.

Music, enviroments, cutscenes, character design and dialogue all really well done. Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the feedback guys!
I've been taking note on the bugs and requests, so be prepared to see many changes in the next update!

Sojourner83, I just replaced the "OK" button in the extranet window with "DONE" Also making it possible to push "DONE" even when you haven't selected any letters.

BTW, one way of getting the word out there would be to use our signature banner! (Possibly with a link back to this topic)

I'm going to be giving this game a whirl tomorrow night. Regardless of my thoughts on it, I'd still like to thank the folks who are working hard on it for spreading the Mass Effect love.

We tried tweeting a few devs, and I believe that Norton will be talking to Chris Priestly soon.

Having a facebook mention for every major update would be ideal really.

I have also had wild marketing dreams of getting this game accompanied with the ME3 PC for the player to play during the installation, but yea, won't happen.
