Uhmm just wanted to ask how the poisons and grenades work? Do poisons literally just weaken and deabilitate enemies or outright kill them? And i'm guessing grenades just go boom? Just asking if there were any special effects and if they make the game any easier on Nightmare as i've never used them before and decided to start

Thanks ^_^Image IPB

Edit: Yup meant poisons :D

Um, it does what it sais on the bottle :) . You use a poison and your weapon gets an on-hit ability. Grenades are used like a fireball for example, only they have longer reuse and different effect (and damage based on your level).

You mean poisons? Read their descriptions to see what they do. Grenades just go boom. I don't really use 'm unless I play rogue. Probably left-over from DAO ...

Oh so it plays out like an element? I was half expecting Hawke to sneak into a bandit camp and pour a vial into their water supply then return the next with a full party and the enemy completely off their heads ^_^

Thanks for clarifying Image IPB

I'm not 100% sure but I think also Debilitating poison is bugged in the same way (at last on PC).

I remember than in the first run of the game I gave Debilitatiing to all party members and the mature dragon was literally killing me in about a minute (I was not very experienced then). I even thought it impossible to beat in nightmare. Then, because I forgot, I did a try without using debilitating and killed the dragon easily.

Namely, it seemed that nstead of giving -25% resistance/damage it actually increased it by the same amount.

I can be mistaken (since I never tried it again), but I did 5 tries and in all of them the dragon was much stronger than the last one when I forgot, while it should have been the contrary.
