Hey

This isn't technically a technical post (I'm hilarious with that statement I know..) but, I haven't seen anywhere else where I can ask a question that is troubling me.

I have the collector's edition of mass effect 1 as well as 2 for xbox 360. I have moved a few times in the past couple of years and we all know that sometimes things can get lost.

Is there anyway it would be possible to try and get a new plastic sleeve for the xbox version of Mass Effect 2 Collector's? I know this is a huge long shot and most answers will be a simple no. But I am willing to pay for just the plastic sleeve itself. It means a lot to me and I am sorry to have lost it.

Any feed back is appreciated. If this post could be more helpful in a different location, please let me know where to put it.

Thanks!

Having never seen a plastic sleeve for a Collectors' edition I can't help you. Though I do want to ask you whether you remember if the sleeve had anything printed on it which limits it to the format?

My thinking is if the answer to the above is 'no' then you could try casting the question out to PC owners as well; perhaps in the general thread for more exposure.

I think it just had the logo of the n7 printed on it. It just holds the collector's edition package like the comic book and the cerberus stuff to the actual game tin. Im very sad I lost it. Thank you for the reply though I will try to research and see if the pc one has this as well

PC edition has:
Tin box containing manual, and 3 disks.
Cardboard folder containing Cerberus Network Card, Art Book, Redemption Comic #1, and paper insert with Collectors Armour/Weapon code.
Box to hold both tin case and cardboard folder.
No plastic sleeve sorry.

You obviously didn't lose the tin that holds the game, so you either lost the mini-box that holds the art book and comic book or the sleeve that holds everything.

Either way, you might be SOL: those were little more than stiff paper, not plastic. You can make a DIY version of the outer casing by downloading the images of the outer packaging, laminating them, then tying it all together with plastic adhesive wrapping, but I don't think you'll be able to just order a replacement.  The mini-box for the artbook will be much more problematic.

Or you could email customer service. Might be worth a shot, even if it is a long one.

Yeah its not the tin. It's just the plastic outer sleeve that held the collector's edition and the actual game tin together as a package.

I have the game registered to my account so its not like im trying to mess with them in anyway. I'll try and contact customer support and see what they can do.

Thanks all for the feed back.
