i nwn 2 gold and soz. i just want to reinstall the nwn 2 gold. as i don't like soz. do i have to download every patch there is?

SoZ gives you a lot of engine features, and so lets you run a lot of community-made modules which require it. So, even if you don't want to play SoZ itself, you might still want to install it.

vo_x1.zip in your C:\\Program Files\\Atari\\Neverwinter Nights 2\\Data folder.
