When did you redeem your preorder code? I redeemed mine on August 18.

My preorder code was put in on July 23rd. Hope I get in today. Have the day free for birthday reasons.

I think the biggest hurdle is the first day, the first day July 21 more people probably preordered then on any other day, so I bet you get in today. Just later in the day.

Nope its not Nathan Fillion voicing the smuggler. They credit Maury Sterling. But wish it was. I really thought Smuggler would be my main until I actually played it. But just wasn't pushing my buttons like I thought it would. Largely because I haven't liked the companions so far and just wasn't snarky enough.

Unexpectedly, Jedi Knight ended up pushing those buttons much better. Some really great snarky dialogue if you search for it, and I really like the first two companions. So will probably be doing that as my main.

Well if I ever get in today. Still waiting for them to unlock the pre-order door for me. Anyone else get in yet?

You can't be serious! I could've sworn it was him I had Firefly on at the time so maybe I was just hearing things but really sounds similar. I was surprised at the dialogue also I kind of expected clever nerf herder sounding rreponses. I always felt like I came across as the good. The Imperial Agent though was a blast and I really like the dialogue for that class. Playing a good Sith or bad Jedi offers the best dialogue imo since it's a so different from the code they are supposed to fllow.

I played a Good Sith Inquistor, it felt boring to me for the options you have, I'm going to play a Dark Side Sith this time.

Oh on a side note, for those that played the beta, how do you talk to your companions? I'm talking about after the first time you talk to them, do you have to have their affection at a certain level? I never talked to my companion after the first world.

You have to talk in any cantina, simple as that the game even tells you. :P Once you get your ship you can just talk there.

Well thats according to IMBD. They might be incorrect. It seems alot of the voices weren't whom I thought they were. I was right about Jo Wyatt (FemHawke) being the Female Agent though.

And yeah I played a bad jedi. Not as in evil, but as in very snarky and not buying into the whole order line. So it was fun that Kira Carsen was nearly as snarky and terrible at being a Jedi as I was. The best 'jedi' in my team was my astromech droid. Again, which I found very amusing.

Well TOR forums sure seem angry on the bright side Ohlen posted this.

Surprised there isn't a guild back already.

• New Content – We will be adding new content to the galaxy on an ongoing basis. These worlds will include Operations, Flashpoints and solo content.

• Guild Functionality – Guilds are important to the long term health of any MMORPG. We have a huge list of guild centric features. This will be an ongoing effort that will probably never end. Guild banks are the first thing we’ll be delivering in our plans for increased guild functionality. Eventually we even want to deliver on the promise of the long hinted at “Guild Capital Ships”.

• UI customization – You like choice. We hear you! SWTOR is all about choice. Being able to choose how you interact with an online game is something we feel is very important. We are going to be giving more control over the UI as an ongoing effort. This is a very big priority for us.

• PvP – We have an entire team dedicated to adding content and features to player vs. player. We have some of the most experienced PvP developers in the world on this team. So far very few people have seen, or know much about the stunning Open World PVP on Ilum; when you get to the high levels prepare to be blown away! In addition to that high level PVP content, expect new Warzones and new PvP features on a regular basis.

• Space Combat – We will continue to add missions to the space game. We also have a special project going on right now that will expand space gameplay in a significant way... for now the details will have to remain under wraps.

• Legacy System – The ability to select a surname for your character is just the start of something much bigger. Soon, the Legacy experience and levels you earn will grant your characters access to powers, objects and other cool benefits.

• And more – We have an entire team of developers working on future content. Right now we are focused on nothing else but Star Wars[/i]: The Old Republic, so expect new and cool things.

I really enjoyed playing female sith inquisitor. Very snarky comments and I think the best starter story that I played. (Though the Husband prefers bounty hunter for some reason...)

Bounty Hunter gets a rocket launcher shooting Jawa right? I may have to make a Bounty Hunter second if I'm right.

Yep, and according to Daniel Erickson he's "adorable".

He's no eight-foot flesh monster but to each their own I guess.

On an unrelated note, looking at the IMDB link above does anybody know who Ali Hillis voices?

Invites to early access is going a lot slower then I hoped it would. I was hoping we'd get into August today.

Grats on getting your invite.

If not for GAME faffing around with giving out pre-order codes I'd be in by now, then...

Curse them.

Remade my Sith Inquisitor this morning; no glitches at all after a few hours of play. But the Movement is still more difficult for me than the ME series or Skyrim; varied usage of WASD makes for poor muscle memory. Thank goodness for a User Friendly Death system!

Now taking a break for lunch and Skyrim; at 50th lvl with still a lot to cover.

Answered my own question; found her voicing an NPC in the smuggler quest line, not a companion though. Shame. Wonder if she's anywhere else..

Also, I got in (Yesssss!).

So does this game follow the usual trend of MMOs, or does it have RPG elements along the lines of KOTOR? By that i mean companions, branching storyline, companions quests etc.

I never was really interested in MMO's, mainly because they lacked these aspects. If this is supposed to be some kind of KOTOR 2 though i might give it a shot.
