Well I'm on the Corsair server since it's at standard population right now I was getting sick of the que times. Empire side my name is Muad'dib if anyone feels like questing and such.

Wish there was some way I could have Old Republic run through Steam for the overlay especially since I'm having problems alt tabbing.

Had to alter my name choice, as the TOS stated that no names could have religious significance. Well, as most any of the names I use in gaming do have biblical origins, decided to go with Falcon (male Sith Inquisitor) at the last minute.

And it looks like I may have stalled out as of yesterday. I simply cannot get past any of the three Missions assigned; might have sold a helpful piece of gear in error, and did not see any other Missions available. Better now than later, I reckon.

As I recall:

* The Hate Machine - the first wave of ranged spitters does me in each attempt.

* Soak a skull in blood in the main Temple - beastie that emerges wins every time; nearly a dozen matches.

* Fight some Sith Ghost - uncertain of this one.

* Main mission - obtaining my companion; only 7th level, and I recall how tough it was at 10th from beta.

As mentioned, I have a beta weekend experience with this storyline; one of the best seen in the Origins. I should have been able to do one of these, but may have sold off a better piece of eqipment in error; not vital, but at these levels, need all the armor I can get.

Received the game today, and registered, so I have time; just taking a breather during the server rush.

Ohh Hate Machine and and Blood Legacy are hard by yourself but Blood Legacy is also a level 8 quest. Hate Machine is actually a heroic so it's best to get a group instead of tackling it alone.

What ringo said, also does anyone else find when the servers are full that you get booted?

The ghost quest is also heroic, but was able to best all of them solo in beta. I will try and find some other quests to gain a level or two, but did not have such a difficult time earlier.

I picked a random server when I got in and now it has one of the longest queues in Europe, found myself playing WoW while I wait to get in. Anybody know if there'll be a server transfer feature at some point? Even if it's paid (although free transfers from over-populated servers would be nice) I can't expect anybody I know to roll on a server that you have to wait two hours to get into, and I've put too much time into my character to just reroll.

I think your gonna have to wait usually it's like this at the start of any MMO and eventually the hype dies down and server ques should get to normal levels. The game isn't officially out yet so I assume more lag and que times also.

AFAIK, there is no rule against starting another PC on another server. Also, there is a Server Status report on the SWTOR Forums for getting needed intel on population, ;location, etc.

Well since I didn't hardly follow this game at all from release I just now decided to watch some of the cinematic video's to get a feel for the universe Bioware is trying to build...

And holy monkey sweat I am loving everything I am seeing so far, wish I had the proper internet to play this game.

Can I confess something? I hate jedi. Alright that's not entirely right, I don't actually hate them I just hate being them. Jedi are kickass, destiny bound warriors who follow a strict code and I respect them for it.

No the people I like are exactly what bioware has been building. I like the republic soldier like you see in the alderaan standoff video whom without the jedi wouldn't even be able to do their universe saving missions, the sith agent who actually does all the dirty work for the empire that actually keeps the empire viable (not those hammy sith lords).

These are what I wish I could have been in the single player kotor games. Which makes it all the worse that I don't have MMO capable internet. >

For those already playing, what are your impressions so far, about the game (not any queue/EGA/server stuff)? Is it good, does it that 'it' that makes it somehow special compared to other MMOs, is it polished (for MMO standards)?

I didn't play any MMO before TOR beta, so i don't have a base to compare to, I was on PvE server, I only played the beta for 3 days in a raw with minimal sleep, but it was/is definitely a KOTOR sequel, at least i felt that way when i played. I was never bored, it had some/few graphic and gameplay bugs, i don't know if BW fixed them or not, nevertheless it was VERY enjoyable.

If i would buy the game and subscribe, i would do it because i'm curios about the stories, and to play through all the classes with dark and light side choices, and probably would enjoyed them all, and not because it is a MMO.

I really like the game, its got great story quests to it and such, BUT I think they main quest is to small on the worlds I've been to. I think the main quest should get more air time, I spend about 9/10 of my time with side quests, heroics, and flashpoints.

I'm loving it. What I think is special is not only the quest design but how fun a non-force class is. It's good to see a lot of Bounty Hunters or Smugglers running around and not just Jedi Knights or Sith Inqisitors. Also pvp I'm actually pvping I'm not a pvp type person but I won a Huttball match by personally scoring 4 goals and I've been hooked since.

Check your keybindings.

Re-checked, but it looks like all of these are controlled by the same control, and do not see a way to change them.

Ran my first flashpoint tonight. I thought it was really neat and much more enjoyable than WoW dungeons.
Trooper storyline has been great so far as well. This game keeps on impressing me.
