I wonder what the methods of paymant are. At least buying Bioware points, EA has some options that are easy to use in my country that do not require a international credit card. I wonder what they'll use in TOR.

Why am I asking? Because I was said Sithlord
Talk about being in one of the most awesome places for such an announcement
Edit: Video footage of the announcement with me stood in the background as Vader accompanied by fellow members of the 501st Legion's UK Garrison... oh and one of our Jedi scum that our group has
Was awesome to meet the Co-Founders of Bioware, real down to earth guys

Just need to give us a budget and we can help you out. Seriously building a new PC can be even more beneficial.

Cheers, I'm thinking about £500, £600. Although I hear it can cost alot more.

1: it appears that all the classes can heal & resurect in a fight, why have classes if they can all do the same thing?
2:-Also why are all the weapons putting out so many rounds? How are you suppose to dodge? & why use anything larger than pistol if they put out so much so quickly?
This is just from the game-play trailers I have seen mind.
3:- Are we limited in the appearance of our characters? Or can they only have a certain appearance W.R.T. armour etc.
Lastly it seems that once again, we have a game that appears to be aimed at the northern hemisphere, no release date was given for Australia or NZ, will it even be released here?
When do we in the right & proper part of the world get some loving? 8-)
Edited due to being 0200hrs & very tired. Does it make sense? 8-)

All classes have an out-of-combat self-heal, but 2/4 classes (per side) have a healing spec, which makes 2/8 advanced classes that can heal, which I'm thinking are the only ones who can revive in combat. They don't all do the same thing.Dracurian wrote...

Power? Accuracy? Attachments? I don't know, there are rapid-fire side arms IRL, they're not the be-all and end-all either, why would they be?2:-Also why are all the weapons putting out so many rounds? If the character creator I've seen is final, it's nothing spectacular; it's no APB, but I think armour is pretty open to choice. As I understand, most of the stats on gear come from mods/sockets you have to put in yourself, so you could make a set of armour viable if you want to keep using it, but in terms of min-maxing there'll probably be a best set. Otherwise it seems like standard fare; you find some armour you like, you put it on, it shows up on your character, although it changes colour to match your chest piece I think.3:- Are we limited in the appearance of our characters? Or can they only have a certain appearance W.R.T. armour etc.

That's my understaning anyway, I'm answering off the top of my head so I may be wrong about everything.

My God, this. The TOR forums are even worse than the BSN by far. There's even a thread about how they have the right to be little SOBs and the (most active) mod should just deal with it because 'he's paid well" and "if he can't do his work he should get another job LOL'.

Just because there is worse it does not make the TOR forums good.

This mod, was he also lead designer?
You can't paint them all with the same brush --certainly not from this rather precarious glass house-- some of them (dare I say us) are just excited fans. Of course there are those people (read: Vocal Minority) , but they're everywhere on the internet, that's nothing special.

He was a dev, I think. Sometimes I struggle with the words (english isn't my first language) and I couldn't find a way to say he was both.
Anyway, I know that not everyone there is a jerk, but the TOR forums can be pretty revolting. I suppose there's no point in complaining, though, I'll just stay the hell away from there.

Also the lead designer thing was a reference to the BSN-DA2 brouhaha, sounds identical to what you described.

Thanks for that, I'm sure I will need some advice, I'm clearly not great with this type of stuff, lol. I may buy a new one or just upgrade. Looking at my specs above what do you think I should invest in if I just upgrade? I assume RAM is the biggest issue so far on my pc?
Anyway back to ToR. I've been wondering, are the Sith going to be really outnumbered in ToR? I cant think of why many people would want to be Sith? The only reason I would consider Sith is becuase of the Bounty hunter, but I would rather be a more honorable bounty hunter, or one who switches sides always working for the highest bidder. I dont know why they are just Sith though.

From what i can tell so far based on forum polls and guild searches, pvp servers will have alot more empire than republic. pve servers seemed to be alot more balanced maybe even a slight favour to republic. I will be playing on a pve server and im playing empire.
When the general public has access, you can bet the population will landslide over to the 'good' side. In Warhammer AOR beta the population was overwhelmingly Chaos, but on live most people went to the 'good' human/elf/dwarf faction.
