I, and I would think a lot of other people, was afraid every person got the points for whatever played out. So that is one thing that improves my outlook on the game. But still, I'm the kind of person that likes to actually see what happens when a choose a certain option.

This was something that they made sure to clarify quite a while ago, which was a good move. Having a single light side sith win a roll and save the captain, for example, won't stop three darkside members from getting their darkside points. I do agree that being able to see how the instance unfolds with different choices would be nice but they alter more than just the cutscene.

If you have some time RPG checkout the different endings for the Black Talon flashpoint. It shows some divergent gameplay in regards to the decisions. It isn't hugely different but it is a nice change.

Where? I tried youtube and couldn't find anything.

I'm not worried so much about the gameplay though. I'm most worried about not being able to get parties with people that know to wait for everyone to select the NPC before initiating the conversation in order to get the points for doing dialogues with other people. There's other group aspects I'm worried about that I'm not sure anyone could ease my mind about.

But there is something interesting I found out, I just don't want to mention in case Bioware hears of it and would want to patch it.

Well if someone tries to start a conversation with an npc you can still take part in a holocall.

There is apparently one last beta this weekend. I didn't get in, apparently it's only a few people. Did anyone else?

I'm glad I didn't get in. Finals coming up next week, a final beta would be bad for my grades.

The more I see of SWTOR the more I regret that they didn't made KotOR 3.

The game has everything I would totaly love in an single player game. But I have no time/money for two MMO's. Too bad.

Simple solution:  dump the panda game until they go F2P.

My guess is it happens in 18m tops.  Maybe 12.

Never heard of SWG have you? Or GL's money habits. That thing will never be free, you'll be lucky to even see it at 1/4th the price....three years later.

I think you've misread my post.

TOR won't be F2P for at least the next 5 years, likely longer (depends when Bio/EA wants to put the Mass Effect MMO out).

But that's not the game with pandas.

They are one of the more crazy looking aliens in Star Wars. I remember them from Episode IV.

No clue about that, haven't received an e-mail.  I have a friend though that apparently got in on a full time beta the beginning of November, I'm jealous of her.  Maybe more time with the game might have given it a better light in my eyes.

Hmm, I tried finding the old videos without any luck either. Basically, if you kill the captain of the Black Talon his less experienced and brash first officer takes over and opts to ignore the Republic drop pods, so you spend the majority of the battle fending off the Republic and correcting the first officer's mistakes.I think the bridge crew kill themselves mutiny style at the end also.

If you spare the captain you avoid the drop ships, because he recognizes the threat, and board the Republic vessel instead. The captain makes some good calls throughout the mission etc...They aren't huge changes but they're noticeable.

I'm not sure if that type of scenario is prevalent throughout the game but, they try.

I did notice that on my one run but I do hope Bioware keeps that up in all flashpoints along with Crew Skills being useful in instances.

Doubt it. I haven't heard anything like that anyway, I'm pretty sure it's all separated to swtor.com.

Thanks,  Well, I got some time before I'm willing to pay for any extended monthly service, it's a possibility I could be busy for almost a year and won't be able to play any online games next year.  Until I know for certain that it's not going to happen, I need to keep my calendar open.

I haven't been able to log into my account for a month now, tried to use voip to call the support so I could get them to reset my security-questions or whatever but apparently the number isn't a valid number. and I refuse to pay long distance fees because their damn database isn't working and they don't give help over the normal support-form to people outside the US and UK. The worst thing is I have my preorder registered on that account and have no idea of if I will be able to get to it even once the game is released.

The so called customer service is awful.

Have you reset your password?

SWTOR automatically locked me out of my account and I had to change my password to be able to get back in.

Can you access online support? Or is that a regional issue you're facing? I've had success with Origin's live chat feature in the past (on the Origin website) with account issues. Hope you get it resolved.

Anyone know of any online retailer that still has Collector's Edition for sale? I'd like to buy one for a friend if there are actually any available,

I believe in a Bioware staff member on The Old Republic said there were still collector's editions left but they don't know which retailers have them.
