Sorry if this had been asked elsewhere, my search didn't turn up anything feel free to point me in the right direction if I just missed it.

One of the first things I did after I explored the mod community for KOTOR was instal the same sex romance mod.  Bastila was so much more compatible for my main FRevan and while the occasional references to the incorrect gender were annoying it was completly bearable.

So I've learned that the one person I'd prefer to romance with my main most likely isn't an option  .  What I wanted to ask the community was if it would be possible to make a mod that would make it possible.  And if it is possible what limitations, problems, inconscitenies might there be.  I realize everything may not be known but best guesses will do for now.  I'd like to romance said person on the first playthrough and if it was something a "simple" as turning a gender check off it might be worth waiting for or switching another character not affected by this news to my leadoff hitter...sorry about the baseball metaphor, World Series and all that

can be done but you would need to change conversation and go through them manually. just disabling the gender check would give other issues, that you simply don't want.

Depending on what changes need to be made I imagine it might not be easy or quick, but you can bet your arse that someone will find a way.

I would also not be surprised if someone made a "no jealousy" mod, alloing you to have a romance with all 3 or 4 options at the same time. No more "her or me".

You'll have a problem if the voice acting makes reference to the gender.

I could overlook a few general references but that would get harder the more repeated and obvious they are
