#1: Why are there no Ogre or Shriek emmisaries?(admittedly, Ogre emissaries (or even worse, Ogre alpha or Ogre Omega emissaries) would probably be the mother of all demonic spiders)

My take on these questions are:
1) There are, we just never see them. Some people have said that DA2 emissaries are shrieks.
2) Darkspawn are crazy, not mindless. In the Dead Trenches in Origins you fight a unique genlock called the Forge Master, showing that they are capable of complex tasks.
3) It's either the same as answer 1 or the Architect only Awakened hurlocks.
