I finished Witch Hunt yesterday and made my choice what to do with
Morrigan, but then it did not create a post-save game for import to
DA2... replayed it but still did not create it.

I know that
Awakenings did not made one, just the one you manually make from "The
Nest" but then again it did not matter since all the major decisions
were already made.

I read that 1.1 version of Witch Hunt repairs this bug, but not mine... can you help?!

Look under "Saved Game issues".

Thanks, but none of those helped.

It simply does not make any autosave or epilogue-save. I made all kinds of save before meeting Morrigan and gone through number of times through the final conversation with her with all kind of choices and it still doesn't create anything.

Someone please help, cause I want to load it into DA2... I have the 1.1 version which says it fixes the bug.

Origins creates a save called "Post
Campaign Save - Epilogue" because, technically, you make some decisions
after the final battle... you're boon from the King/Queen and various
little bits of chit-chat with the companions. However, for both
Awakening and Golems of Amgarrak, there is no such post-final-battle
decision making (killing the final boss is assumed... you can't finish
the game otherwise). So you should load the last "Autosave" before the
final battle.

For Witch Hunt, there will be a final Autosave
called "Autosave - The Nest (#)" with the number depending on how many
autosaves you have already.
You can confirm it's the correct one by
loading it, it should go right to the Witch Hunt credits.

Having
just played DA2, I can confirm that using the above autosave from Witch
Hunt works, with some exceptions that should be addressed in the next
patch for DA2.

There is no "Autosave - The Nest" with or without number... i only have hard save that I made before talking to Morrigan... there are no saves after that... it simply does not create anything...

My issue is not that it's not creating the save file, it's that the save file is not accessible when I try and import into Awakenings. The import screen (even the Advanced section) only shows saves from Origins. How do I import the Witch Hunt save into Awakenings?

The post-Origins campaigns create new folders for the character. You must select the correct version of your character from the list. For example, my "cannon" warden that I have run through all possible campaigns has is listed four times.

Thanks, but I could tell that much - the problem is, when importing to Awakenings the character from Witch Hunt is not in the list. I only see the character I created for my first partial playthrough of Origins, and the character I created for the second run where I "finished" the game. No other characters are displayed. I haven't tried Golems yet to see what shows up there, or if that save set will show up for Awakenings - guess that's next on my to-do list.

Both WH and GoA were designed to be played after Awakenings, so that may be your issue, but they show up on the import list for me. Do those saves show up on you character list at the main load screen?

Edit: Nevermind, mine aren't but that is probably because I ran those characters through Awakening before I took them through GoA and WH.

I just made a couple saves in GoA and they don't show up for Awakenings either, so I guess you're right, they'll have to be done after. Thanks for the input.

sami jo is correct.

Each of the campaigns has an internal ID in the .das saved game file that says which one created it.  The "Import" function for the earlier campaigns will simply not recognize a save made by a later one.

One can "hak the .das" with the Toolset to fool the chronology check.
But otherwise, one cannot take a Warden "back in time"  Image IPB
