Or they were willing to give everyone the same amount of love interests. How horrible.

They made everyone Bi-sexual because they were lazy.

Or they were trying to make a statement or be "politically correct", some BS like that.

But it just seemed unrealistic (IMO).

Laziness does not make sense. The process of making them all available to everyone is simple, but it still means more work.

I say: Torchwood is so 2011.
Get those homoerotic energies flowing!

I think it was a quote where gaidar or laidlaw said making romances available to all was a cheaper and less timely thing than making actually different romances for both genders and bi/gay stuff. I'd call that laziness. Also whether or not it was right isn't the question (I don't think it was), but it's hard to deny the reasoning, and it wasn't to make some social stand by making everyone bi JMO.

How often did love interests from Origins refer to you by gender then?

@ OP - straight is never going out of style. Also why do you argue Fenris is gay? He's bi. I suppose having something different in terms of LIs in a game could be scary but really keep an open mind about it, it's not a recruiting station for "teh gay" it an opportunity to have some vicarious fun, if you don't like the fun Anders suggests walkaway, simple as that. Or are you suggesting that all gay men are effeminate and that negatively effects the experience? If that's your problem you should stop paying attention to stereotypes.

Read the quote carefully.

"All I want is women.."

He doesn't express the desire to engage in intercourse with a male. Or he just recently became bi .*shrug*

Why don't you read it yourself? He said a pretty girl, not women. If you want to get down to semantics, then that means a desire for the moment, not for all his life.

EDIT: This thread just got ugly.

Not as ugly as that avatar. :pinched:

Perhaps since he's now double-minded...m/m someone at BW took it to mean gay.?
