I lost the chestpiece from my inventory recently and can't figure out how to get it back. All of the methods seem to be for PC. I didn't sell it (I'm pretty broke still as it is early game) and I didn't throw it away (not even sure that's possible). I tried to uninstall my dlc and restart the game, but it prompted me to redownload the armor before being allowed to play. I did that, but the chestpiece is still missing. How can I get it back! Please help anyone!

I am still early in the game, btw. I have not even finished the ritual to become a Grey Warden. And again, I am the Dwarf commoner, not the noble.

Memory is somewhat hazy, but I think there was a bug related to the inventory (not limited to the Blood Dragon armour) for one of the dwarf origins, though I believe it was for the dwarf noble.

Scratch that, looking around the bug can occur for either dwarf origin. And reading the patch notes I cannot see the bug for the dwarf commoner having been fixed, though I could have missed that bit.

It really does depend on the specific circumstances of the process in which you lost the Blood Dragon armour. If you destroyed it, then you can't get it back.

Not sure what else I can add at this moment in time, as the specifics are somewhat lacking (and I may lack the necessary knowledge to help you, but perhaps someone else can with a bit more detail).

I did not destroy it. I noticed it was missing once I reached Ostagaar. Looks like I am going to reroll noble!

My advice will currently remain the same: that is to see what other information you can provide so others may help you.

Well, you could try loading an older save if you have one.
