Okay, who here loved the following moments:

1. Brohug with Wrex on Tuchanka?

2. Swapping ME1 jokes with Liara during LotSB?

3. Post-LotSB conversation with Liara, regardless of romance?

4. Giving Tali sh*t and making her blush post-LM, regardless of romance?

5. Post-recruitment and post-LM conversations with Garrus, regardless of romance?

6. Drinking with Chakwas?

7. Reuniting and goofing around with Joker?

8. Garrus teasing Tali about elevators?

9. Jacob offering to spill some drinks on the Citadel?

10. Mordin's *ahem* advice as a doctor?

Now, I get it if you don't like the characters.  I get it if your Shepard doesn't like the characters and you can't roleplay as a complete ass to them.  Totally valid frustration, and I hope that is later corrected (because Liara is totally not my BFF).  However, I think those moments, when Shep and Co. act like legitimate old friends, really shine as some of the most memorable parts of Mass Effect 2.  For one thing, it makes Shepard seem a lot more human, and for another, it adds life to returning characters and gives the player a reason to care about them.

With the galaxy crumbling around them, and with so many confirmed old faces returning (not saying who to avoid ME3 spoilers--look it up yourselves), I really hope we get more moments like this in ME3.  What do you guys think?

Also, more squadmate-to-squadmate banter.  That was seriously lacking in ME2.

EDIT: Added spillin' drinks with Jacob.
EDIT: Added Mordin.

1. Yes
2. Kinda.
3. Pretty good.
4. Yes - blushing tali is a win.
5. Yep. Calibrations, reach, and flexibility.
6. That was freaking awesome!
7. Yep.
8. It was cute. :P

It's a good guess that the banter will be back.

I loved all but...

7. Reuniting and goofing around with Joker?

As much as I love Joker as a character. I was annoyed that we did get the option to punch him in the face for ignoring direct orders and getting Shepard killed. Or atleast calling him out on it.

Seriously, if there is no drink spilling with Jacob in ME3 I will be a very unhappy man.

Okay I'm happy now. Image IPB

Drink spilling seriously needs to be in ME3. On that note Gianni Parasini still owes me a beer.

Spilling drinks on the Citadel and that Bro shoulder touch and handshake with Jacob was just Brotastic to the bombastic max.

We need more Bro moments in ME3.

Meeting Wrex was the best brotastic moment in the game. He's the only ME1 squad member that genuinely treats you like a friend upon meeting him.

I thought Garrus did too.  He just did it in a more reserved, Garrus sort of way.  And Liara actually starts off pretty glad to see you, what with the hug and all, but then rapidly gets all ambivalent and distant.

Opening cutscene.

But I don't blame Joker; the Normandy was his baby, so his refusal to leave at first was expected.  I blame the giant Collector laser.

Tears? No just something in my eye bro.

2. Swapping ME1 jokes with Liara during LotSB?

Ah yes "Omni-gel"... The alleged way to melt metal junk into stuff that can open doors.

3. Post-LotSB conversation with Liara, regardless of romance?

Eh it's alright. Seems more like an apology session though.

4. Giving Tali sh*t and making her blush post-LM, regardless of romance?

More of an awkward moment.

5. Post-recruitment and post-LM conversations with Garrus, regardless of romance?

Reach vs. Flexibility? That's 40,000 laughs everytime. Someone's making a killing out there...

6. Drinking with Chakwas?

"They just don't make them like you anymore..."
*Frantically searches dialogue wheel for I should go*

7. Reuniting and goofing around with Joker?

Should probably put him on de-caf. But I'll give him mountain dew instead...

8. Garrus teasing Tali about elevators?

I loved this, just wish there was actually more of this.

9. Jacob offering to spill some drinks on the Citadel?

Heavy risk... but Shepard's drunk dancing is the prize.

Yeah half of what makes the Bioware games so great is party-member banter. Seriously bring it back. Now. Like right now. Or else I shall release Boo from his cage...

In all of my playthroughs I never even THOUGHT of blaming Shepard's death on Joker. Wow, I didn't even realize that if it wasn't for him Shep might not have died.

I loved them all. Even the Jacob one, at least to begin with. After a few more times, it became a less memetic 'calibrations' speech.

But we do need more squad banter. I'm looking forward to having so much of the ME1 and 2 team back, so we can have a nostalgia trip as we save the galaxy.

Maybe wanting to punch him is too hard. But I was annoyed that I could not say anything to him about it. Hell, Joker does not even give an apology.

if it wasn't for him, shepard probably would have died when rescuing Liara, and forget that drop on Virmire.

Yeah, that was kind of a weird oversight on the writers' part.  I'm pretty sure he only mentions it when you first see him again ("I saw you get spaced.") and, ironically, right before Shep dies again during the FAIL ending:

"You tell them. You're not doing this to me again!"

It would have been hilarious if Shep called him out right before plummeting to certain death:

Shep: "I'm not doing this to YOU? If you hadn't have..." *loses grip*

Joker:  "Shepard!"

Shep: "@#$% YOU, JOKERRRRRRRrrrrrrr........."

In Joker's defence. Shepard's death in the Collector base is his own fault.

I did think it odd that Joker never apologised for accidentally spacing you, but he's my bro, so all is forgiven. He's saved Shep's ass enough times.

I whole heartedly agree that there needs to be more party banter in ME3. It makes the game 1000x better, especially since it can a) reveal a lot about the character and B) tends to lend itself to comedy gold. I mean, think of the possibilities missed in ME2:

Thane, Garrus, Zaeed: comparing kill counts during battle. Zaeed's an infamous bounty hunter, Thane's the best assassin in the galaxy, and Garrus managed to hold off three powerful merc groups by himself for a long time.

Jack and Jacob: discussing Cerberus in a somewhat rational way, since Jack doesn't hate Jacob the way she hates Miranda and Jacob has his own doubts about Cerberus.

Tali and Garrus: s--t talking if one is romancing Shepard. Come on, it would be hilarious.

Vying romance partners, ala Morrigan and Leliana in DAO.

So much potential!

I really liked drinking with Chakwas and they talked about events we never witnessed in away that made me feel like I was at least in the area while it was all going down. It didn't seem out of place. I hope we get more scenes like this with our ME crew but also quite moments with our LI. Though after Horizon if I'm forced to bring Ash/Kaiden on board the ship I want the option not to be friends with them and kick them off my ship sense I'm really mad at them and really I don't want to save their asses after that. Maybe they gingerly bring up the conversation of why don't we hang out in the case of Kaiden he'd go let's hang out you, me, my girlfriend I'd like the option to be like how dare you after you called me a traitor and start adding on negative things if they do them in ME3 before we recruit them too sense I'll no doubt be mad at that too.

Shep's death is 1/2 Joker and 1/2 himself he didn't pull himself into the pod and Joker was the idiot who wanted to stay. But if anyone is to get on my hit list it's TIM because he did one step worse then Joker he wanted to be god.

EDIT: I guess Joker's apology is like the way you apologize to your once friend in Assassins Creed after many years of coming o his place spending a few hours to rest before you get your supplies and go kill your target you finally apologize to him for causing the whole incident that made him loose his arm, his brother, and his,  job as an assassin and become a desk clerk at the assassin hotel. Maybe Jokers just working up to it.
