So uhm it's been a couple of years since i played TOB but im pretty sure Gromnir is not supposed give 150 million xp when you kill him:blink:, does this always happen when playing solo or is it just a glitch.

It must be a glitch, Gromnir is not a terribly tough foe like Melisan. 15 million is more xp than the game is meant to have.

Right. Checking saves the total xp for the two above ground floors of Saradush castle is about 400,000, so Gromnir himself can't be more than 100,000 exp pts. Spj..., are you running a lot of Mods, or are on Windows7 or on a Mac?

I agree that 15 million is clearly a mistake.  Fortunately, however, your screenshot shows an award of 150 million and this seems much more reasonableImage IPB.

I am running it on windows 7, though i made sure to install it outside to program files folder and the only mod im running is DungeonBegone. Not that this actually matters since i hit the xp cap ages ago but it still seemed a little overkill.:P

I always wondered what playing at level 96 would be like and having Helm as an NPC. Don't be too tough on Cyric. Image IPB I wonder if anyone at the Tech Help forum has seen this issue before with Windows 7? I assume you have the latest BG2/ToB fixpack installed.

It is a script error. Would have to look hard at your install logs to find it... assuming you care.
p.s. I don't  use the fixpack myself and have not come across this error yet... only been playing 11+ years so far.

Even with the official patch there are a lot of game-breaking bugs in the game. You should really consider installing G3 Fixpack.
