I cannot seem to access the Paragon option during the fight, and after the fight. I've already done the Suicide Mission and my Paragon is very close to maxed out. However, the Paragon option is still grey-ed out once I talk to Miranda (note that I chose Jack over Miranda during the fight). I would like to see everyone in my team loyal to me.
I've heard that even people with 50% Paragon/Renegade have been able to access these options. Mine is around 95% Paragon, so what's the deal?
I have no idea if this is a underlying, intentional mechanism at play or an actual glitch or bug. Please enlighten me, thanks.

You need to select nether jack or miranda in the fight. you need to select the neutral option or the other will go unloyal and not trust you again.
Miranda was loyal as soon as you finished the Sister mission
Jack would have been loyal as soon as you blew up the child care home.
If your playing a male shepard. Your love life might mess up these options and prevent both being loyal.
As you can cheat on the others with jack.

It is a weird algorithm they use. It's not how much of the bar is maxed out but rather:
How many paragon points you have
Over
How many posssible paragon points you could have gotten.
So it's more like, how much percentage of the possible paragon points by that time in the story do you have. That's why people with half bars can get it while people 75% of the way through can't, since it depends how far in the game you can get. My recommendation is save before you finish both loyalty missions and re-train your passive so your get a 100% boost to your paragon status. This will almost always give you enough of a boost to give you the option.
