Way too long. And either way, no. If Shepard is going to face Kai alone, with nothing but bare hands, it needs to be within the elements of game play, and the proper class type.

Biotic Shepard needs to pound Leng with biotic fists.
Engineer/Sentinel Shepard needs to pound Leng with Omni tool gauntlets.
Infiltrator Shepard needs to bust out a combat knife.
Soldier/Vanguard Shepard needs to smash Leng with normal hand to hand.

Five minutes is a bit too long; I'd say two to three minutes tops.

As ssomeone who played and loved all three Xenosaga games, the length of cutscenes doesn't bother me as long as it's good and adds a signicant amount of story and plot development.

That said, I'd much rather actually fight Kai Leng than watch a choreographed scene play out.

Make it a boss fight on the scale of Wrex's battle with the Asari Commando who may or may not be Aria.

Yep, Two people, One station, Fighting breaking out all over it, the stage constantly changing momentum always shifting.

1-hour long Agent Smith vs Neo fight anyone? I do believe that was the longest fist fight scene of all time.

Renegade/Infiltrator Shepard should have an Indiana Jones Renegade interrupt like that one movie where the martial arts badass does his big showy martial arts opening dance for like a whole two minutes... only to be one-shotted by a revolver. (Was rumored that Mr. Ford was feeling sick that day so they couldn't film an actual fight scene, hence taking the "American" way out.)

A 5 minute long cutscene would be ridiculous. Even those Peter Griffon vs. the chicken action movie parodies from Family Guy aren't that long.

Even though people hate them, I'd like a press or die fight that lasts for a couple of minutes. Paragon interrupt is a grappling move and renegade interrupt is a punch or a kick.
