In one word? Disappointing.
I can't stress this enough - DA2 is not a bad game by any sensible standard. It did a lot well and in the long run, is a competent RPG. The problem is that it's predecessor was a classic. It changed a lot of stuff that worked well, it added a lot of stuff that wasn't needed, and it missed the mark in many areas that RPGs, of all games, should lead the way.
DA2 is to DA:O what ME1 was to ME2.
