so, has anyone heard sandal make his portent of future happenings? i just walked into my abode in chapter 3 and talked to him and he strung together a whole 3 paragraph monologue, i was actually quite impressed...
anyways, he said something like, and im paraphrasing, "one day everyone will have magic again, when 'HE' rises..."
holy poo, does he mean the maker? he has been saying lots of interesting stuff, perhaps hinting at future DA stuff...
Sandal scares me (chapter 3 lil spoil)

Sandal scared me ever since I saw his Siberian Husky eyes and uber-creepy smile for the first time in DA2. For srs, just don't look at me, or talk to me, dude. Ever again. *shudder*

Creepiest character in the game.

There's also his mention of a "scary laughing lady" in his dreams.
I'm still confused on how Dwarfs can dream at all, due to the "not connected to the Fade" thing.

I'd say that right there is an indication that he is no ordinary dwarf. Some have speculated that he is a throw back a long long time ago when dwarfs could be mages, if that ever happened.
Also it could not in fact be a dream but in reality just the scarey lady watching him, and of course the scarey lady is projected to be Flemeth.

The new Sandal has grown on me. I was sad initially that not only did he look different, he sounded different, but I've come to peace with it. I crack up every time I see his awkward smile, and hear something random come out of his mouth: "She smells like cinnamon buns." classic.

Perfect line as well, because hey, who doesn't like the smell of fresh sinnamon buns?

sandal might be a descendant of the anciant dwarves that lived in the thaig you explored. These dwarves might have been able to use magic. Maybe in the past Flemeth was doing experiments on Sandal and the trauma made him the way he is.

I thought this was going to be about the woodshed comment. That one freaks me the hell out.

I liked the prophecy bit. Scary but still awesomely adorable.

It's a 1 in 100 chance that he will say it if you click on him.

"There's something nasty in the woodshed" comes from Cold Comfort Farm.

Sandal was always terrifying... remember the last part of DAO in which he is surrounded by an amount of Darkspawn rivaling my Wardens? From that moment I was scared of him but the bit in Chapter three... well just creepy but not that scary, c'mon being a prophet is better than him being an absolute killing machine.

I like Sandal. He's creepy but in a fun way. Especially when you are talking to him and he decides to scratch an itch. Hilarious.
