I assume this question has been asked before, but I don't see an answer immediately with search, so I'm asking again.

I have a Steam copy of ME2. I purchased all ME2 DLC. I uninstalled/reinstalled Steam on the same PC, but now all my ME2 DLC is gone and the site is asking me to rebuy the DLC. I am logged in with my account, obviously. The site apparently is aware that I own a copy of ME2 (it asks if I want to un-register my ME2) but neither the base game nor its DLC is recognized under "My Games." What's needed to redownload this material? Thanks in advance.

After finishing the suicide mission as an Infiltrator and wanting to continue this same character play, I paid for and downloaded some of the DLCs (Overlord Pack, LotSB) - neither one is showing up in my journal. Only the DLCs I downloaded before the suicide mission appear.

Did these 2 DLCs have to be downloaded before the end of the suicide mission in order to keep playing them afterwards as my same character?
Or can I only play them if I switch careers or play as a new character?

All dlc must be
1 downloaded (in this forum check  Profile / Your registered game content)
2 installed on your computer
3 logged onto your cerberus network at least once so your account is autentified from EA server to use X dlc

No DLC is hidden on the main game and waiting for a code to be unlocked, all dlc ready at the launch of the game are free as some few other dlc that came later.
After you download your DLC, i suggest you make a back up or stock them somewhere safe in case you have to reinstal them.
Once your account is identified to play your DLC, you can play offline if you want, don't forget to relog if you intend to put more new dlc to keep your account updated.
All dlc about extra mission should show up in e-mail at your computers on the normandy and are playable anytime during the game or after the last main mission, exept for Shadow broker, you need at least to reach Illium in the game, it can't be played before.

Download dlc, double-click the .exe files, let it install. restart game. voila.
