me fighter priest lvl 6 hit points 67 Average [15 + 10 + {(5*10.5)+(5*6.5)}] / 2 = 55 (if just fighter 67.5)
minsc lvl 6 hit points 35 Average 11+(5*6.5) = 43.5
kivan lvl 5 h/p 31 Average 10 + (4*5.5) = 32
imoen thf/mage lvl5/6 h/p35 Average 8 + (4*5.5) + 4.5 = 34.5
dynaheir lvl 7 h/p 30 Average 6 + (6*4.5) = 33
branwen lvl 7 h/p 47 Average 9 + (6*5.5) = 42
could someone advise if this semms okay or are my hit points low
I've added in average HPs above based on the following assumptions:
- you have not changed NPC constitutions
- all NPCs have their BG1 stats and not BG2
- your PC is a fighter/cleric multi-class with constitution 19 (though I've also shown total just for fighter as this seems more probable based on the HP figure you give)
- your HP rolls are random (apart from maximum at level 1)
- Imoen has been dual classed rather than multi-classed
Overall the HPs seem very much as expected. Minsc has been a bit unlucky, but I've certainly seen far worse throws than that in some of my games.

Your HP on the default core rules difficulty is randomised. There are mods you can get which set it to maximum, or you can set the difficulty slider down for level-up.
Fighters get 1-10 hp per level, priests 1-8, thieves and bards 1-6, and mages 1-4. 15 Con gives +1/level, 16 Con +2, and 17 and 18 Con give +3 and +4 respectively IF you're a fighter-type.
Dual-classed characters stop gaining health until their second class level exceeds their first. So Imoen at L6/7 has 6 levels of thief health (3.5 average) and one of mage health (2.5 average), with Con bonuses.
Multi-classed characters have averaged health. So when a Fighter/Cleric gains a Cleric level, for example, s/he gains 1-8 hp, plus Con bonuses, which is then halved.
Bear in mind that when you pick up new NPCs, they start with a set amount of health for their level. So, even if you are giving them max hp at level-up, they will start out with less.
