Is the MP3toBMU conversion program on the vault the only conversion program out there?  A lot of the MP3s I need to convert get a "divisible by zero* error and shut the program down without converting?  Or does this happen to be a common issue?

Any tips for this problem would be hugely appreciated, this can get rather frustrating.  Thanks.:?

This might not be what you want to hear - but - you should google the error and also look for tutorials - if you havent done so already...

Heck, I'm more than happy to hear anything. Although you're correct, that one part I particlarily don't want to hear, as I have googled and googled and googled... However I haven't looked in any tutorials as to why this happens, time to do some digging. Most MP3s convert just fine while others seemingly at random don't.

Edit: OK digging deeper I found this on the old forum and it actually converted my file..  *exhales happily*  Hopefully it'll work IG now.

For anyone who might have had the same problem as me...

For quite
some time, I couldn't get my custom music to play in the game or in the
toolset. This wasn't a 2da issue. The music was selectable in the
properties of an area in the toolset, but whereas the selection of
standard music resulted in the playing of said music, only silence
greeted my ears when I selected my custom music.

Well, the answer
appears to be the following. Take your mp3. Convert it to wav format
with WinLAME, which you can download here:
http://winlame.sourceforge.net/
Convert it back to mp3 format, making sure to choose "custom settings"
and to select 128 in the bitrate section, to check the constant bitrate
box, but *not* to check the "mono encoding" box. Once this is done,
then convert the mp3 to bmu, ignoring any error messages that the
program gives you (because it frequently identifies problems where there
are none). Modify your 2da file. Done!
