So it's only racist so long as more white people are depicted, but not racist if more black people are depicted?
Sigh.
Only white people can be racist. This is a known fact.
Honestly though, the people who even bring up the fact that he is indeed black are the ones who are racist. It's the same thing with disliking Ash. I cannot dislike her for any other reason other than because she is religious and that is what the disscussion will always break down into every time it is talked about.
People cannot get over the fact someone may dislike a character they don't.
On the racial front, I'd like to mention that for years I was a somewhat frequent poster on star wars forums. Mace Windu's awesomeness finally overcame a lot of resistance over the years. But it took long time...too long in my opinion. From my experience on those forums, I would say Mace hate ended, for the most part, about 3 years after Revenge of the Sith. He's still probably the least frequent avatar you'll see amongst major characters...well...Lando Calrissian is/was almost non-existent as an avatar, but I guess he's not as major a character...
You know I'd almost forgotten about all of the Mace haters, It seemed like every imaginable conspiracy against the Jedi had him at the heart of it all. I remember being very confused reading some of the irrationality of it. If you didn't know better you would have thought Master Windu was the Dark Lord instead of Palpatine by the time you got through talking with some of those people. lol! Some even had Windu as the traitor and Dooku as the good guy.

And I have to say, some of what has been said about Anderson in THESE forums sounds eerily familiar. The conspiracies about Anderson are just as nutty, and in many of these scenarios TIM is the good guy while Anderson is portrayed as the traitor. And you're also right about your earlier post, they absolutely HATED Jolee Bindo at the old Bioware forums too, wouldn't give the old Jedi a break.
