I'm doing my second playthrough on the game, and just noticed something. I've given Aveline both levels of elemental aegis, and she's at level 23 right now. According to my game, the first level of elemental aegis gives her 60% resistance and the second level gives her an additional 20%, which to me adds up to 80%. However, when I look at her resistances, it says she has only 60%.
I also notice that on some sites, it looks as though the first level of elemental aegis is supposed to give only 40%, the second 20%, which would add up to 60%. Here's an example:
