hello,

If there is a post about this somewhere plz point me in the right direction, I looked but couldnt find.
Im interested in knowing what is carried on throught to ME2 from my ME1 savegame.
I have played both games before but along time ago and I decided recently to create an uber ME3 char while enjoying the great game again.

I seem to remember having a choice of 1 weapon skill and 1 ability to carry over.. is it possible to open the assault rifle achievement in ME1, use that as vanguard and carry it over to ME2 + any 1 ability I fancy?

Other than that there is the story plots ofc.., but I dont seem to remember so much other than
- archni queen
- love relationship
- ?

anybody could help me fill in some blanks here plz? :)

also what else is affected from your save in ME1 ? does maxing max cash or omni-gel give any bonuses ?

Cheers

Yeah the nice email I got from the rachni queen, I was really happy about that decision in ME1. what really pissed me off was that I didn't kill the asari scientist in Virmire, then I find her as a Justicar in ME2 and I give her another chance. 30 seconds later find a log/diary, turns out she has killed and is evil. That's gonna come back to me in ME3 I just know it.

by the way I think that the Paragon and Renegade decisions in ME1 kinda affected ME2. Like I was a full Paragon in ME1 and I was able to do that "blue"/paragon talking-option.

and can anyone tell me what the story in ME2 would be if you killed Urdnot Wrex? I didn't kill him and he turned out as a krogan overlord in the help grunt mission.

@ Bolded part
HUH, the girl you are talking about isn't the scientist you let go.  The Sciencetist is on Grunt recruitment mission and is a cameo.

You get minor bump for paragon/renegade.  No weapons carry over, but I think you are remembering that in a mission in ME2 you get to choose a bonus weapon/skill.  Most things you get from ME1 are cameos and emails with unknown results for ME3.  There are a couple of save game editors that can allow you to alter anything you want if you don't get exactly what you want.

First, even tho you can port, you still choose your class (play as Adept in ME1, Vanguard in ME2). You get 8 or so points to distribute as you wish (but say you had maxed out Singularity in ME1. You don't have enough to do so in ME2 at start, and several Adept powers need to be unlocked, which takes 3 points, 4 if you count the point to actually activate the power).

I played most recently as an Adept with side training in Sniper Rifles. The training doesn't port.

EDIT:  Take Garrus on Grunt's Recruitment mission.  His comment about her is apt, indeed.

Related question:
Is it known whether ME3 will reference some minor decisions from ME1 that ME2 didn't touch?

Not much is known about ME3 because it isn't even finished in production yet. There are several flags in ME2 that are imported from ME1. See wiki posted above or look at a save file in a gibbed editor to see what exactly is looked at. There is rumors, rumors mind you, that many of the flagged decisions will play a role in ME3 but only time will tell.
