I gave you concrete facts, dates and numbers released to us by EA/Bioware and EA's shareholder report. With the addition information of my opinion based on those dates and numbers.

Your initial point was that BioWare and EA released false info.  You still can't prove that.  You can reason all you'd like... your opinion isn't enough to build an argument that BW/EA lied.

Seems like all the game makers out there are going against this form of game play for reason's of their own.

I've suggested several times that the reason that game companies have stopped making DAO/BG/NWN games is that there isn't enough of a market left to justify making them anymore.  There's enough of an audience to support one game every couple years.  As opposed to shooter and action games which have enormous audiences.

BioWare keeps making DAO games, then I'm out.  I enjoyed DAO as a reminder of the old days.  It was a fun throw back... but games like that are done.  I'm not interested in them anymore.  I know you are, and I hope to heck you find more games that you love...  but I don't think there's going to be too many.  :)

Yes, for most people, it is that simple.  Games are fun pass times.


Take a look at your posts.   You said a bunch about hours of this and hours of that and achievements and play throughts...  Compare that to the released statistics of ME2.  Half the people (who reported statistics) never finished the game, nevermind multiple plays to unlock achievements.

This plays into the point I made to Dragonlordz...  There is a real difference between us on this site and the people who play a game, enjoy it, and then put it aside, never thinking about it until they see the next game on IGN or UGO or whatever their favorite marketing outlet is.

Fun is all most people are after.

Didn't want him to feel left out, can't imagine will be locked down because of that.

Oddly enough through the last few pages only a couple of posts in this thread from those pages even relate to the original topic the rest is just us debating various opinions of value and benefit of what was already released not what they can do to improve that. So in a sense the thread hasn't really gained any gound in a while. If gets locked I imagine will be because of that. Rinpoche saying this is future, deal with it and if changes he's out. Others, myself included saying if doesn't go far enough back towards the direction of the previous title even though can include elements from DA2, were out. Then followed by the normal sales/success debate and now some humour.

@Rinny ~Love to know where you think I failed. I countered every comment you made with rational reasonable approach. Until you got cheeky and made the assumption that someone sending a virtual wave is somehow an affront to your very presence.

Nah, I love jokes. That's one of the main reasons I still wander around here. That being said, I will admit that the snide comments are generally bounced off of your original remarks. So, you might not start it, but you are a vital part of the yes man orgy.

P.s. This thread now is beginning to go a bit far off even I can see that. But at least it has been fun/entertaining and had really good debating going on with others here, even yes.. Rinny for some of it until he got hissy noone was waving to him.
