CH: BW have a loose definition of RPG so they can focus on evolution and what actually matters for the games as long as they observe the 4 pillars of: strong story, combat, exploration and great production. Feedback is important so things like the deepening of rpg elements are a response to that.

With all due respect to Casey, I've heard him use that 'four pillars' thing before, and imo BW only ever deliver 3 out of the 4.  I have never played a BW game that has been that great exploration wise.  I don't dispute that they make these really detailed and interesting worlds, there just isnt very much exploration wise as they are so closed in and small.

Maybe it is just me but I think exploration should be more in the vein of GTA, RDR, Fallout and Oblivion - massive worlds where you can just go off actually exploring (the planets from ME1 dont count ).

Sorry - bit off topic but it has always bugged me a bit that BW feel they deliver exploration wise

ok interview, didnt really go to in depth about what rpg elements theyre adding, but he did say a few times rpg elements are something theyve been improving which sounds promising

but holy crap the guy interviewing was terrible
