Development will be 21 years, triple that of Origins, so Bioware can put anything Dragon Age elf related in-game.
EA will use their famous advertising skills to get people who don't like the game to buy the game anyway.

Look! I already made the description for the back of the box:

"Rise From Elf To Squire
Embark on an all-new story in the Dragon Age™ saga. You are Dawke, one of the few to be beaten in the destruction of your alienage. Now, forced to fight for coin, you must gather the smelliest of amigos,
amass hate and misfortune, and seal your place in the outhouse."

That is what I would find fun but will Bioware work with the needs of one over the majority?
The majority who'll stuff EA employees dollar shaped pillows with guess what? dollars.
Nope serah. Best one can hope for in this matter is the return of Origins. Warden help save us!

I want to play as a evil narcisstic, babe pulling, demon hunting,  plant called herb.

He smokes darkdpawn for breakfast, surprise rapes the Qunari for lunch (he was not satisfied with raping man Qunari so he raped himself, how awesome?!) and kills dragons for dinner.

He is so badass he just stares at creatures and turns them into broodmothers.

So awesome he spreads his pollen to many pretty flowers.

So dangerous he uproots trees.

His name is herb, and he is a plant.

YOU DARE CHALLENGE THE HERBIVOURE?!

I do not mind if dwarvers are included for others.

Anything but a human named Hawke would be nice. I hope they give us options once more and ditch the restictions implimenting a voiced protagonist has put on DA 2. But...we'll just have to see.

You can't, because they would have to create a dwarf more epic than Varric, and that probably won't happen in our lifetimes.

Not going to happen, and deep down everyone knows it. The lead will be yet another, caucasian, Human male (trailers, promotional stuff). This just sadly always appears to be the norm. I'd love to see the game star a Dwarf, or a woman or even a dark skinned human. Not going to happen though.

I don't understand why Bioware doesn't at least try to have Dwarves as main protagonists or even pay more attention to them in the lore because it seems to me they have the best culture and the best characters in the universe of dragon age because they have been fighting the darkspawn for well over a thousand years and even though they are losing they still fight while the humans and elves seem less mature by fighting each other because they just don't like the look at each other, before anyone say it dwarves argue over trivial things because the smallest things can be the most important because they don't have access to a ready supply of food and water so this makes every decision that the people in power make tough ones

I'm totally cool with having a dwarf in the party, but I don't really want to play as one. Actually, I'd like Sigrun to make a return. LOVED her. I'd be fine with the paragon of manliness making a return as well.

Dwarves suck, no thanks.  I mean, there's only been three tolerable Dwarves, Sigrun, Varric, and Gorim. 

Outside of Humans, City Elves, and Kossith, I literally could not care less about any other race in this lore.

I'd rather not have a fixed character foisted on me at all, but since player VO is in, that's what's going to happen and I agree we'll either get the next slice of whitebread, or else an even shorter/ sparser game if they try to implement origins.

I wouldn't mind playing a dwarf, especially since the elves now look... y'know.

Never going to happen because it was posted awhile back that only 5% played Dwarves in Origins.

The most popular Origin was the HN0, followed by the mage, and the Dalish Elves.

Only 5%? I would have assumed it to be a higher number; that 5% really know how to represent on these forums. 

I didn't try the dwarf origin; it really didn't interest me. I played the the dalish elf, city elf, mage, and once I figured out that my Cousland could marry Alistair, I played as a human noble every playthrough after that. What can I say, I was an Alistair fangirl.
