I would like people to throw in suggestions of what ME's future IP's (Or dlcs/spin-offs) they would like to see in the future after ME3 is released next year. First post will be edited with all the suggestions added as ''Overall Suggestions So Far''  when i have the time. If this is just garbage reading for you/not worth your time, i apologise for wasteing it, please just ignore this.

As first one ill ad mine.

I would like an Mass Effect RTS becouse i think ME as an Real Time Strategy game would be an awesome concept overall, while maintaining the important ''Dialog Wheel Choices'' as cutscenes after youve done a mission.



Overall Suggestions So Far: (Numbers will be taken note of here HOWEVER THIS DOES NOT mean for exsample 20 is lowest ranked it is just the total list i have gathered so far.

For me, I would like to see a game that focused on more "episodic" content. Here let me go into more detail.

Plot: Post reaper invasion, able to import ME 3 save for minor cameo's and what not. (ie: if Garrus, VS, or heaven forbid Comander Shepard surived they would show in a minor cameo.)
With the recovery of the Galactic community underway, the Alliance is shifting to a more diplomatic/exploratory paradigm seeking out new relays, suitable colonial planets, and possibly new allies. You, (as in the player) are the captian of the Light Cruiser SSV(insert name here) with a brand new crew.Stories will be episodic in content. Example: You find a lush new garden world out in an unexplored charter far out in the fringes of the Skyllian Verge, you send some teammates down there to scout it out, you teammates get enthralled by a Thorian and now you got to deal with it, either by going down there and killing the Thorian, leaving your away team to "die", or if you brought them back up to your ship the Thorian spore could infect other crew members on the ship. The outcome for these missions could affect other missions as well.

Gameplay: Space exploration Gameplay will take the Galaxy map and throw it out the airlock. Your an explorer, Space should be explored in 3D and it shalt be beautiful. To make sure you dont get lost, each solar system will have a visible HUD at it's edge(like Mass Effect 2) to tell you in which direction an adjecent star systems and Mass Relays are.

Ground Combat, will have the same flow as ME3, possibly improved to be determined.

RPG elements will include more skills, and no Character levels at all. Only Exp based skills, eg you have earned 2755exp from mission x, Your a Vanguard so you want to level up your Charge ability but you dont want to be a softie, so you put 1000exp and you now have a Charge lvl 2 and you put 1000exp into your suits medi gel storage tanks(health) increasing your health by say 100 points (Max character health can not be over 1000). You now have 755 exp you can now put into any other skill or into an attribute (Health, Shields/Barrier, or Charm/ Intimidate). Convo's will be more or less like the Morinth's dialog on Samara's loyalty mission, no or barely any indication on what the alignment is.

That sums it up, oh FTL in real time. Possibly mmo, and your ship is is twice the size of the Normandy SR2, same style though.

I'd love to see an rpg based on the novels, they have alot of great characters and they're all well written. It would be interesting to see Bioware attempt a dynamic turn based system like in the Grandia series.

I have a fairly simple one. Mass Erect.

I mean hell, its already known the quarians have "Nerve-Stim" and "Nerve-Stim Pro" Could tie into them somehow.

I'd like to see a DS game, as it is the only way 50% of my friends will ever play Mass Effect. Grrr mobile and portable gamers. New stories though, please, not rehashes of the novels.

Since the graphic requirements are significantly reduced for the DS (or iPhone, or whatever portable you want), you could have more planetary exploration, more different and weird worlds, more enemies and aliens, and a larger cast of characters. I'm not quite talking Suikoden scale but... I wouldn't complain about a Suikoden II style politics, recruitment, and adventure RPG (though hopefully one with a better battle system), where you found a space station or a colony and have to adventure between various planets, collecting both colonists and squad members.

As always:  Mass Effect:  Noir.

But...  I would totally play a 4X game based in the ME world.  Colony or corporate ship shoots through a rogue jump gaate and ends up on a lost planet...  So you got all the ME species together on the same planet.  Depending on how you play it, they could all come together in a paradise... or it would be all out waaaaaaar!

Mass Effect Survival horror game

EA would just make it a full fledge shooter.  Battlefield meets Mass Effect. It will have some dialog and maybe even some choices, but they will only effect how the player character's story plays out and will not effect the overall course of history.  Although there will be hubs, the story will progress linearly. 


Mass Effect: The Terminus Wars.

As the weakened Council races struggles to rebuild the, Batarian Hegemony initiates a full scal invasion of Alliance space killing and enslaving all in their wake. The weakened Alliance must go it along as a growing coalition of terminus powers threatens the rest of the Council species.  The Reapers are gone, but war is still inevitable. 

Release date: Q3 2014

I think it depends a lot on what happens in ME3.

Personally, I think the franchise could go in a lot of directions.

If Shepard doesn't utterly wipe out the Reapers, for instance, there's the option of an ME4 Deep Space mission that goes beyond the galactic limits in an epic journey in a completely refitted, remodelled, deep space version of the Normandy.

Or there could be an ME4 "Terminus vs. Citadel" version. After all, ME3 might end up with a weakened Citadel, allowing for the Terminus Lords to make war on their systems.

Actually, that would make for a great MMO. The entire galaxy is in ruins after a galactic war with the Reapers. The Terminus System Lords are expanding. The politics between them threatening to tear them apart whilst the Citadel races band together against this new threat. Could be super epic.

Or are you predjudiced against certain types of game or certain people that play games?


(As an aside never played an erotic game and know that Bioware would never publish one still)
