I like the idea of an investigation/adventure game set in the ME universe where for example you are a Citadel Security officer or something similar and investigate crimes....or maybe an agent on Illium...don't know but the idea of something similar to La Noire is very interesting IMO

I'd like a Mass Effect: Origins where you play your Shepard from an early age, depending on your history and military background in ME1-3.

As an earthborn you'd spend a lot of time in the slums of Earth with various gangs, fighting the authorities, presumably being a criminal, etc. As a spacer you'd meet your parents, visit and explore various locations, get an early introduction to the Alliance, and so on. And then of course all origins would lead to you joining the Alliance and eventually ending up on Akuze/Elysium/Torfan. The game could cover the ground from Shepard being quite young, up to the events of ME1.

Pretty sweet huh? The universe has potential you know.

Also...idk...shooter is a given considering that it already is a shooter...RTS..not so much....well I guess you could make it a SPACE SHIPS ONLY RTS I don't think that there are a lot of those.With 3 or more plains where the combat is.

Or a dating sim (that should be easy for you).

This isnt a good idea really (well it is a good idea, but it would be unimplementable), Cause they would end up having to make 9 different games.

So you would either have 9 very very short featureless games, or 9 games with very poor production values.

Or possibly both I guess.

Well, it would be 3 playthroughs with full differences, and then 6 playthroughs with partial differences, as you could tie each history to each military background, and they would be quite similar. I think it's doable, though yeah, it might be better suited as an expansion of sorts rather than a stand-alone game.

you can choose between your classes, species and home planet, and it gives you an original Origins story who introduces you to the rest of the game, like DA:O. it will/would be considered as a prologue to the Shepard Trilogy, and do have the same gameplay. However we are allowed to swap between our characters to play our Squadmates. consider it a mix between Halo REACH and DA:O in a Mass Effect setting.

I might be crazy but if EA really 'really' wanted to I'd like to see ME1 re-made....

First point; levels and combat would/could get an overhaul similar to their ME2/ME3 counterparts.

Second; Mako/planet-side exploration is a lot more easier to navigate.

AND finally; we could actually get to play out the scenarios from Shep's backgrounds; War Hero, Elysium etc. that can be played as a prologue before beginning on the Normandy. Pretty much similar to the 'Origins' of DA:O.

P.S also probably PS3 would get to play this re-made ME1 as well, but for now I'll keep dreaming and wait for ME3 to come out first...

Although a Mass Effect RTS would probably end terribly, it sounds awesome.

Just think, what would the teams/sides/whatever be? Alliance, Cerberus, Asari (Commandos) Turian Hierarchy, Salarians (STG), Batarians, Geth, endless possibilities.

I could see a Mass Effect MMO...a star system being colonized then attacked by Batarians. This would give a back story to the fighting going on. Perhaps the Skyllian Blitz?

How about a Garrus ME game? Short stories. Investigation as a CSEC.

Anything where we get to be the other races or possibly a game when the humans discovered the bunker on mars and the first contact war.

Play as a merc in the terminus system. Or specifically a turian merc. You can cause mayhem, and destruction, or be some what of a hero. Probably motivated by revenge, but would start off as a build up in the first act to give you a reason to care. Or probably on a chase for a bounty. This would give you more of a gray area. I mean imagine blowing up a space station just to kill your enemy. Hardcore.
