Hello;  I have PC   Running XP SP3 Intel Duo Core 2.77 Ghz, 2GB RAM and an NVidia 8800GTS.

I've also downloaded the custom content Stone Keep or something like that ,  nothing else.

The mage spell cast is really strange.   I can't start off attacking a new enemy with a staff (which really sucks at the start) I have to fire off a spell first then he'll use it.

Also it is almost impossible to chain attacks, I dk why. When I take control of another char he chains up attacks as I've set up in tactics, but I can't run the same attacks manually.

My original game had an SQL corruption problem and I had to reinstall/restart.  I remapped some of the keys but only movement,  I don't even think there's an option to remap the mouse attack button.

Just got the Ultimate Edition of the game on PC and started having this problem in the basement of the tower. It's the auto select thing when you go into combat. The game auto selects the enemy and when you click the spell button, nothing happens. It appears though it shows you've selected something, you really haven't because the mouse is a target. If you click on a monster on the screen, the spell fires normally. That's also why using other spells seems to fix it. There isn't a way to shut off auto-target that I can find.

I'm having similar problems with my DAO Ultimate with getting an NPR Mage to cast spelss. The Mage in my party in the Tower of Ishal won't cast spells reliably. I select a spell and click the Ogre to cast the various spells and most of the time, nothing happens. Sometimes the a cross hair will come up but the spell is not cast and the Mage then runs up and attacks with his fists. What is the proper technique for casting a spell?
