@Jonsed thanks, I believe Leliana could make a reasonable companion (that would make sense) since she's clearly devoting all her time at the end of DA2 into helping the Seekers find out what happens to the Hero of Ferelden. Iunno, just seems right to me.
I can see it now! (AKA I'm bored entertain me)

What I meant was that since she is a "big shot" that logic says that she should be the one doing the leading.

I like it a lot...though I wish there was a way you could fit in Kossith as a race. And not voiced is win. <333

I have a companion idea!!!!!
Varric: A handsome and dashing rogue determined to find his old friend. It is possible to romance either him or Bianca. Or both.

Good ideas!
However, I find it better not to have Leliana and Cassandra in your team. They should be left as main quest givers. Also, I think that there should be a voiced protagonist which sadly also means limiting races. As for companions, you could also look at my now old thread 'Brainstorming : Companion Ideas'. There are some very refreshing characters there, especially Dodok's ones.

Voiced character just limits things, such as race. And there's the fact that quite a few people like to "RP" in the game -- their character would say their words differently than the option they chose.

@JohnDoE Thanks for the suggestions! It does make more sense to have Leliana and Cassandra as main quest givers, although it would please alot of fans to have Leliana back, me included.
I get where you're coming from, and will think about it
@Crmea River I agree wholeheartedly. I believe going back to non voiced characters will really help make DA3 stand up to Origins.

Together having sex? Brokeback style? That would be awkward. But yeah, no more than half of the game finding them both. I don't want it to turn into Fable II where you spend the entire game gathering your companions for an grand purpose and then the game ends.RPGrogue wrote...
I love it, except for one thing. You should not spend half of the game looking for warden, then the other half for Hawke, they should be together.
But while you look for them since the world is in a state of war you should have to be helping towns and stuff like that
I would like to see DAIII keep voiced characters, but, as was suggested earlier, give the choice of voice. It rhymes so it must be a good idea. Now if you don't mind, I'm going to put on a Speedo and become a paedo.
Y'know, maybe I was wrong with the rhyming thing...

Instead of a Junior Seeker become all powerful and having more senior Seeker members following him/her around (DA:O) I'd rather have an Antivan Crow who...I dunno.. Teams up with Cassandra to hunt the Warden/Hawke down? Takes Cassandra as a hostage for the duration of the game while hunting them down? Is so sexy Cassandra can't resist following him/her wherever they go? Leliana shouldn't make another appearence IMO, she could hire the assassin!! For some reason...

I think your premise is sound.
I'd not have Leliana as a companion though, I love her but overuse is bad.
Plus she'd make a better good / bad / pulling the strings npc.
I'd not have the Watchers as the start / only faction or order to join some lead up would be nice.
Myself one thing I really want is for certain Origins or companions to be worked around events in DA:2.
Namely a warrior could have been one of the templar guards escorting Meredith.
A warden could be one of Strauss' companions.
One of the mages could have been one that evaded the RoA.. etc.

Kinda feels like your DA3 character will disappear in the end, as well and then your entire party in DA5 will consist only of the protagonists from the four preceeding games.
An Orlais location does seems likely, given that's where Bodhan and Sandal are headed, heh.
I've got to ask one question, by the way (could be relevant, probably not):
At one point in DA2 you enter the chantry and tell a one-off npc, that is sneaking around a flowerpot or something, to announce your arrival. This npc heads off in silence and acts rather... strange throughout the whole short scene.
I made a bit of a double-take there, because she looked pretty much exactly like my warden.
Has anyone else had that experience, or was this just a funny coincidence?
