I always understood that bit as saying that each species saw something attractive in Asaris; not that each species was seeing a different Asari.

Your first part raises an interesting question. If Asari live much longer than most Council space species, are universally attractive to all of them, can mate with either sex, and always breed true no matter how many non-Asari are in the family tree, you would think that they would ultimately predominate over all other kinds of sentient life. Darwin would guarantee it. The ultimate cuckoo species.

Not sure that the second part is canon, though. I've never seen anything that suggests that Asari really look differently. Asari corpses do not change into monsters, so it can't be manipulation.

So here's the deal...I am replaying ME and ME2 for my canon import into ME3. I romanced Liara in the first game and I am trying to debate whether to stay faithful to her or to go with Jack, who imo, is the sweetest LI scenario in the second game. However, I want a good resolution to the romance in the third installment and even though Bioware has promised a fulfilling resolution for all LI's, I have to be skeptical. Jack, despite being an awesome character, will likely not be in the game a lot, while Liara is a CONFIRMED SQUADMATE! I think both are equally interesting characters, so it is more a matter of getting the most bang for my buck at this point. At the risk of sounding pathetic...help!

A very sexual species with out a penis has to have other places for a g-spot out side a vigana. Wouldn't make much sence evolution wise for an all female race to have the good spot on the inside.marshalleck wrote...
