When I get the game on November 5th (fifth!), I will be consuming two or more of the following at any given time: apples, raspberries, grapes, pomegranate, pineapple, nangka, carambola, durian, kiwano, nori, laver, dulse, celery, carrots, bell peppers, Mt. Athos olives, Manzanilla olives, an as-yet-undecided variety of bread, some seed-laden crackers, five-year-old unpasteurized gouda, udon, Earl Grey tea, green tea, Chai tea, chamomile tea and water.
There will be edamame, maki and sushi with my girlfriend at the local sushi bar in the unlikely event that I need a break from the sanctity of my office/gameroom/study/cell and the majesty of Dragon Age.

A variety of easily arrangeable foodstuffs such as freshly-baked cookies that I can mold to resemble any of the in-game foods,

Just some light snack and coffee. Besides that I will stop and have my normal meals. Eyes got to rest and the person has to eat normally.

Anything I can eat with one hand, probably pizza with a few beers. Might have to swtich to soft drinks as I expect my first gaming sesh will be a long one! Might get some of the green stuff too, it's kind of a ritual for any game I've been hyped about. And maybe some pitta, houmous and olives.

Whatever happens to be in the fridge. Since it is mine and mine alone, I probably should know though.

I may be flamed for this reply, but I try not to eat at my computer (when I'm playing a game such as DA:O) because it breaks my immersion (yes I said that word)... I usually sit in the dark with no drink or food..occasionally I drink water..but usually not...
Man I sound stupid..but it's true. Maybe it's an OCD thing..*shrug*
You don't sound stupid I'm a big RP nerd myself. I think it's cool you are that into immersion.
