Bullet points w/ "Back of the box" feel followed by "I like that"
Repeat of another 100 threads already posted
Invitation to "flame away"
quick bullet point of KNOWN major flaws in the game followed by "that didn't bother me"
80% chance of getting Bioware dev to post in the thread that should be locked because it's a repeat.
We have a chicken dinner folks.

Extra drumstick for praising ME2s lack of RPGness as an improvement rather than a stripping and gutting.

But I'm mostly here because I heard hugs were being given out.
Hugs? So this is going to be the DA2 love thread? YAY!
And glad to hear you liked it Hanz, I loved it a lot as well.

Glad you (and those others who did) enjoyed it.
I enjoyed DA2 so much, i also enjoyed DAO, Awakening and the DLC.
I like the Dragon Age series very much.
The DA story is wonderful (my compliments to David Gaider and all the other DA writers), there are so many possibilitys for the next games or DLC.
Keep on the good work, Bioware. I'm waiting very impatient for new DA games, expansion, DLC.

Reused environments didn't bother me at all, probably because the environments in DAO though varied, were pretty ugly(on Xbox at least).
Maybe I'll learn a new appreciation for DAO's environments when I pick up the game for PC in the next few weeks:).

There were choices. I don't know what people are complaining about saying there were no choices. I won't spoil anything, but there were some heavy moments.
You couldnt choose anything, stuff happened around you then you got to comment o n them, the only real choise you get in the entire game is who to side with at the end and even that doesnt matter because you always fight the same 2 bosses.

I wrote a very constructive review and sent PMs to Bioware employees on the forum to ask them to read my review because I wanted to contribute. Never got a PM answer or a Bioware reply in the thread. I wonder what would have happened if my review was extremely positive instead of being medium-negative but constructive...

oh don't worry, I wrote there too. Plus the User Review thread of both spoilers free and spoilers full!
Still, I had hope at least for a PM answer. Probably to much to ask.

What does it matter if they respond. Every single morsel of constructive feedback for the game has already been stated repeatedly in that thread and they responded that they are listening. What more could you possibly need??? Just saying.
Anyway, I did enjoy the game, flaws and all. I do have to say that it was a step sideways, and not forward, from DAO. They improved some things but digressed in others. But, I almost always play through Bioware games more than once, and this one was no exception.
I think I would have had a better overall opinion of it if it didn't have so many bugs on release and the savegame import actually worked.

I wrote a positive thread about it a while ago, and no Developer responded. Notice how bummed out I'm not about it.
Just sayin'.

At this point (two months after the release), pretty much every complaint has been made several times, so yeah, it was too much to ask to expect a PM answer, especially considering that the devs have already replied in the Constructive Criticism threads (and most replies amount to "keep it coming guys").

Just completed DA2.
70+ hours in one week . . . I'm hardcore but I've never been THAT addicted. DAO was 100 hours, but it took me 5 weeks to complete the first time. I love DAO as I've played through over 15 times since I got it as a gift.
I honestly thought DA2 was a better game across the board than DAO.
It's good to see some genuinely positive feedback for the game. I won't pretend I liked it, but if I'm honest I do envy your experience. Oh to have been fully satisfied with this game would have been golden.

I loved it, too. It has its flaws, but then so does every game. It may be in vogue to trash it (and hey, everyone's entitled to their opinion), but kudos for having the stones to post a topic in support of it, OP.
You know, as a detractor I find that more than a little presumptuous. God forbid my opinion actually be composed of valid complaints. Nope, I must be ragging on DA2 just because it's the cool thing to do.
Just cut and paste all the I wuv it posts and you will be one with the Collective.Any opinion otherwise will cause histronics and the Wrath of God!Ok maybe more like OMG like dude your such a hater. There are some that have create victimhood for those poor abused DA 2 supporters.
All seriousness aside.I thought it was a 5 at the highest point. It was just ok.I just get a kick out of some of these posters. They act like posting their postive view of DA2 is like chargeing a machinegun nest or something.Contrary to some everyone has the right to their own view.Someone doesnt like it oh well.

I think both the people who loved and hated the game have valid opinions and many times valid reasons for each. (on both sides you'll see a few who just jumped on a bandwagon) So long as those opinions are shared in a level headed and respectful manner, no one should be dismissed for liking or loathing the game.
What I hate is seeing people who hated the game come in and denounce everyone who enjoyed it as "stupid, simple minded, easily ammused, etc."; the people who enjoyed the game can be equally at fault for simply dismissing critics complaints out of hand. Both sides need to realize that anyything in the enertainment medium is going to be subject to taste, and yours is no more valid that anyone else's.
Except mine, of course ... my opinion is the most valid.

well... threads are moving so fast and the constructive critism is just so massive, I just would have liked to be sure mine was read hehe. Anyway, it doesn't really matter after all. I drop the subject

I do love the hugs! I like giving and receiving!
Um, I liked the mage and rogue combat animations alot! I miss them in DAO when I go back to play it. I esepecially loved the mage animations.
Loved putting down AoE spells where spawns would appear and killing them before they could even turn around and run for me.
