At least give me to option to decline their help or put a bullet in their heads. I'm sick of them after having two games of them in my Group and I don't like the fact that they got in over the rest of the ME2 cast. Not to mention that I have grown, over the years, to despise a majority of the Tali and Garrus fanbases and their biased hypocricy.
Really, you may like Garrus and Tali Bioware but your lust to appease a certian fanbase while neglecting the vast majority has made me hate these two characters more than I hate the Reapers.
So we're stuck with Garrus and Tali... Again. Yawn.

Tali was optional in ME2, Garrus was optional in ME1. They can both die in ME2. What's the problem?

Killing them in the SM shouldn't be the only anwer. I saved them because I'm a good Commander who didn't make stupid mistakes.
Now in ME3 if I can't have any of the other ME2 Cast with me than I don't want stupid Garrus and Tali again. It's ben two Straight Games and now it's a Third.
I get it. You like pampering the rabid Garrus and Tali Fans over the rest of your Fanbase. That's your 'thing' Bioware but I'm sick of it. I don't want hese two as permanent Squaddies anymore.
You ruined it with your pandering to a highly biased and hypocritical fanbase that is currently rejoicing that Garrus and Tali got in over the rest of the Red Shirts of ME2.

Optional? Not if I wanted to complete all my quests. I grabbed him because I didn't know that Archangel was Garrus at that time.
I saved Tali only because I had no Tech Experts at the time and Legion showed up extremely late in the game.
Now they're alive but I'm done with them. Bioware ruined them when they caved to that vocal fanbase of theirs over the Majority of ME2 Fans.

Sounds like you can keep your mouth shut. I saved them because I wanted to do every quest and I'm not a stupid leader.
However, after learning that Bioware just took a **** over the rest of the fans of the ME2 Squaddies and rewarding WHINY, PATHETIC, and highly BIASED Tali/Garrus Fans yet AGAIN I have lost all interest in these one dimensional sex objects.

I personally feel more attached to the characters I encountered and befriended in ME1 than the new squad members in ME2. Thus, I'm usually running around with Garrus and Tali mainly on my ME2 team. (Though my team was Kaiden/Liara for almost all of ME1.) They're both very lovable characters, I don't see how you could hate them. To each their own, though.

Liara wasen't a permant Squaddie in ME2 and I did complain about her when she got her own DLC while VS was left in the dust. So don't try and put falsehoods in my words when I had already expressed myself in the past on that subject.

Yes, I did.Those Variables still exist. Bioware just did what I hoped they didn't.
They pretend that all variables not calling Garrus and Tali alive don't exist because of a whinny fanbase.

As for me, I don't hate them but I always did find them the most boring squadmates in the ME1 so I was surprised to find out they were so popular that made their way to ME2. In both games I almost never use them at all except loyality missions. Can never understand the appeal of Garrus.. or that mad love for Tali (but then I'm not a guy^^).

And no, I don't have Kasumi because I didn't buy the DLC at the time. Unlike you I was here for launch and I beat the suicide mission on my first try without losing anyone.
I liked Garrus and TAli untill they were force fed down my throat for 3 goddam games in a row while Bioware takes a **** over the rest of the cast.

You must be new or have a mental defect. I hope it's just because you're new because when Garrus was confirmed and Tali wasen't there was a ****storm of hypocritical Tali fans whinning day in and day out. They felt entitled that Tali get in on every ME game in this trilogy.
A majority of ME2 Fans of the other characters remained quiet and prayed that Bioware wouldn't screw them over.
Their prayers were in vain.
It seems that you should have killed everyone in the SM but Tali and Garrus because in Bioware's eyes these one demininsional sex objects are all that matter to them.
